Hi Guys,

I attempted the slimming world diet as of last week and i am going it alone. In all honesty i can not join a group as i am not not deemed 'overweight' but the fact of the matter is at 5'2.5 and 9stone 4llbs i am not as comfortable as i was at my 8 stone self.

Like i said,i have tried this for a week and dont really seem to have lost anything (although my waist seemed marginally smaller)

I dont want to lose weight in a ridicuous manner - but any advise to get things started would be great :)

I think that you can join a class as long as you have 7lbs to lose and it wouldnt take you below the bottom line for your height?

But sometimes it can take more than a week to see a loss, the fact that your clothes seem looser is a good sign you might have lost inches rather than lbs. Perhaps post a food diary on here so that people can have a look and advise if it looks like something isnt quite right?

I will start writing my food diaries then. One thing i have changed is i make a concious effort to eat breakfast now - it may only be spagetti and ryvitas with laughing cow but it gets me going.
