Hi all,

So here I am having lost 2 stone on Lighterlife and tried to lose more with atkins but just not managed it!

I did SW years and years ago and still have the book and I'm going for Red & Green days. Scared about eating carbs again after atkins incaseIi actually put weight on instead of losing it :(

Anyway, this is what i've had today -

Breaky - 4 boiled eggs with cherry tomatoes

Lunch - Couscous with cucumber, spring onion, pepper and lemon juice

Dinner - 2 jacket potatoes (small) with a tin of baked beans and worcester sauce. Also had some light marge which I need to work the syns out for.

Also had 2 cups of tea with skimmed milk and lots of water

Does that look OK? I know I need more veg but I just went with what I had in until I did the food shop tonight and I've stocked up on loads of salad and veg and fresh fish and mean.

Am I best to alternate between the two days or more red than green etc?

Any help would be greately appreciated, thank you

I'm doing Slimming World but started in November and lost a stone by march, Unfortunately iv but a little back on after falling off the wagon. However im now fully back and determined to shift this st by sept in time to be maid of honour at my best friends wedding.

Looks fine to me :) in terms of red vs green, I like to choose one as my primary plan, and throw in the odd days of the other to treat myself to things I am missing. I do mostly green days, and this is working quite well for me, and I find this way of eating sustainable. I usually have 1 red day a week, and 1 extra easy a week. I say do what you find easiest to live with :) if you don't lose, then re-evaluate :)

Hi Lisa, thanks for the info. I think I will do alternate days up until Monday and see which days i 'feel' better on. I do LOVE potatoes, pasta, beans, spaghetti etc but after so long avoiding them i'm not sure what my body will do with them lol. Soon find out i guess..........would be devestated to put more weight ON before i go on holiday though!
