OT So what do you do?

Hi, I work part-time as a Nutrition Administrator for a Home Enteral Feeding Dietitian. - ironic isn't it!!! The rest of the time I'm a mother to two sons.
:)
Wow what a brilliant job. Is that for paediatrics or adults or both. when i trained as a nurse it was unheard of for a child to be discharged from hospital whilst on enteral feeding !!

Yes, I deal with both. In fact we have more children than adults at the moment. Because of medical advances a lot of these children wouldn't have survived childhood but they are doing well and making it to adulthood. They have really good support from the Dietitian and from the feed companies.
:)

I'm a Residential Facilitator (ahem, carer) in a specialist college for young people with acquired brain injuries and physical disabilities. I love it, but am currently sorting my UCAS application as I hope to go and do a nursing degree in September 2010! :)
