I work on a head and neck ward (ent, max fax) and plastic surgery, in Coventry. I worked on a vascular ward before I started my training. I want to work in A&E (cliched I know) but I had a couple of placements there and I loved it.

Do you find people dismissive of CD at work?

I looked at your profile!

when i did it last time i had a few "you'll never stick to it"'s but mainly people were inquisitive. Saying that i work nights so don't get alot of interpersonal interaction.
Just restarted today so they don't know i'm doing it again yet.
How about you ?

I've had a few people telling me how unhealthy it is, but I just explain that the negative side effects of CD compared to the negative side effects of being grossly overweight are far far less. Surely a short term extreme diet is better than long term obesity, and that usually shuts them up!
