Can anyone help? Does pudding rice for rice pudding have to be wholemeal for it to be syn free on green? If so who stocks it?

I don't think so. No rice has to be brown and I have used ordinary white pudding rice. Going to make some rice pudd tomorrow with some coconut milk I have leftover mmmmm

Indeed - although all rice is free, it is probably better to eat brown rice if available. However, I don't think brown pudding rice actually exists!

And in answer to your other question all the major supermarkets will stock it. Usually found either with the other rice products or in the home-baking section (flour, icing etc). Failing that you can get away with using a risotto rice.

no i've never seen brown pud rice.i use broen or half n half sometimes for savoury and i just white long grain for pud too.i just cook in saucepan and then add a free yoghurt to it to make a free rice pud.yum!!!!
