Reaching Target in 2020

Lovely food and it’s amazing how consistent you are. I haven’t read the whole thread but you noted that you lose weight quite slow. If your happy losing slowely then your doing great, how ever for me though I know that’s how sw works those portions seem huge to me for things to move faster I’d reduce the portions but everything is very healthy but like there was a plate with so much potatoe though it’s free food for faster results a few less here and there will help. Don’t be offended I only mentioned it as you mentioned you felt you lost slowely when I was on slimming world I was great full if I lost at all some weeks lol
But your weigh is clearly working with weight loss I just like to get it over with ppl say if you lose fast you put it back on but for me I haven’t I got to 11 stone 7 decided to maintain which I did for 9 months didn’t gain a lb now I decided my goal is healthy bmi and 2 weeks 2 days I’m 1 stone down. I admire your strength to be consistent all those days for me I just want it done then after I still eat very healthy but I allow alcohol when I’m on my losing weight phase i don’t drink I didn’t enjoy not drinking for the 10 months it took me to lose all my other weight but I realised it slowed me down . Thanks for adding pics I’m going to use it to inspire me for things to make

Thanks for your comments. Any advice is good as sometimes we do things that we don't realise until someone else points them out.
My losses are extremely slow due to body condition (metabolism, genes, hormones or whatever that may be)- it is something I have to live with. ISmaller portions will not make much difference - I have tried. Mostly my plate is full of vegetables or salad. However, there are times that I feel more carb or meat is needed. As time has gone by naturally my portions are getting smaller - I hardly ever drink alcohol (only a small glass on special occasions), so no problem there.
Each person's body is different so some lose quicker than others- yes sometimes I wish, I could lose as quickly as others but I am happy with my progress and hopefully, reach my goal (what my body is comfrtable with - not what the charts tell me).
You have done really well maintaining and losing a stone in 2 weeks.

Thanks again for your comments and guidance and good luck with your journey.

I’m no expert and certainly wasn’t trying to tell you what to do. My suggestion was only based on myself and I know my slow lose was because of the reason I mentioned it certainly isn’t everyone’s reason as you just said.

And over all I don’t think your loss is slow it’s just that you said it was. In the end we all get there and it isn’t a race so I hope you weren’t offended!

What is important is whatever you can do which your doing to keep going and you are doing awesome !!!

Right now .. I’m not on any plan as I realised that even easy plans I found it hard to stick to lol seems I don’t like following rules lol .

So now like you said I try to focus on what my body needs ( not what it wants like chocolate and stuff lol)

I was mainly a Boredem eater so I snacked all day so slimming world didn’t work for me because when my syns worth of snacks were done with I wanted more but now I say to my self between meals that fine have a snack fruit veg a boiled egg and if I’m like I don’t want that I want crisps lol I know I’m not hungry and wait till next meal time :p I think lowering carbs for me moved things along also.

I wasn't offended by your comments at all. As I said every bit of advice helps and I believe every comment has something to teach/learn from..
This week I tried eating earlier in the evening and nothing after except black/green tea, coffee, water . It seems it has made my losses better. I am going to stick with that mainly but there will be time that I eat later (parties, getting home late, etc) - that is life.
I believe we must listen to our body and what it wants rather than follow a strict regime. I don't like to restrict myself or I start binging.
I tried SW years ago and it worked for me. I follow the basics, then modify it to my needs and likes.
Also I find positive thinking helps and motivates me.
Take care & keep in touch.

Been coming on and seeing all your wonderful food, it looks amazing, have not gone through it all but has given me some ideas to change it up a bit!! But one thing I would like to ask, I thought SW was all extra easy now, is there still green/red days then?
Thank you very much. I hope it helps you.
Yes it is all Extra Easy. I use basic rules but do my own version of the plan as it seems to work for me. Also taking pictures reminds me of what I had and gives me ideas what to do when I get stuck.
I had a read of your diary and you seem to be doing well.
