i know it works but what is the actual science behind having red day green day, how can that make you loose weight,

is it simply becasue you are not eating the junk you where
 
It's about filling up on the foods which have fewer calories per weight and restricting others eg lots of potatoes but less protein or lots of protein but less starch. Oh and of course, restricting the "syn" foods.

I think the book explains the full "science" behind it, but that's it in a nutshell!!!
