refeed for a week and then going on holiday!!help plz

iv just started refeeding today. im going to refeed for one week and then i go on holiday for 2weeks. i was thinking of taking the maintenance with me and blending it in with what i eat. i think mainly il be eating salad.

what advise does anybody have? can i have the odd pizza or pasta or go to restaurants with my family???can i even have alcohol and it may sound stupid but what about a Mcdonalds?? would this damage my eating habits or make me pile weight on?

please help with advise. thanks

Your fine to drink once your body is out of ketosis so by the 7 days you should definitely be. If your happy to take maintenance with you then that sounds great. They are easy meal replacements and you don't have to worry to much about cals etc!
As for pizza/McDonald it is up to you. Personally it is not something I would do as I don't want to start that slippery slope! The meal I used to have at McDonald's adds up to about 1200 cals which at the moment I am able to get a WHOLE DAY allowance for! I wouldn't waste those precious calories IMHO! You can still go to those places with your family but maybe choose a slightly healthier option like a chicken salad instead of a burger, or pasta without the cheese?
The few times I have been out to eat I have always looked at the menu before and worked out what I was having. Not only does this mean I would stick to healthier choices but it means I was able to balance my intake out so if one day I would over eat I could compensate for this.

Yeh it does help thanks. I will take the maintenance with me, I won't necessarily be having them all the time but i will definitely be including them in my eating instead of having snacks. The maintenance made sense to me before I was told it was different to refeeding! What is the difference? I'm looking forward to the bars and things but don't want to go back to all sweet things!

Refeeding is the week long process where you re introduce foods back into your diet. Maintenance is the rest of your life! This is where you maintain your weight. You can use the products in either as meal replacements.
You don't have to use the maintenance products- I haven't as I find them quite expensive. They are really just supplements if you choose to use them or not is up to you.

Yup tigerlil has it in a nutshell, maintainence is the rest of your life! :)

Personally i'd avoid fast food joints but its up to you.
After refeed you are free to have 'what you want' but as ever always try to make the more sensible option.

You're fine to have alcohol after your week refeed but again try to make the more sensible option of spirits and diet mixers.
