Well I finally restarted, I had to give up after being in hospital for a number of months and just didnt bother when I got out but because Im being a bridemaid on the 1st march and the dress really doesnt fit (hasnt from day one lol)!

Been going well(ish) this week but am at my parents which makes it a bit harder so once I get to move back to mine it will be a bit easier esp now that I have ordered my tesco shop online with everything i like.

I cant believe im back at having to lose over 7stone over all but Im determined to do it - especially after reliasing that my recurrent knee injuries of torn and ruptured ligaments only ever happen when Im over weight and Ive figgured getting to target will help my knees and get me off being semi permanently on
    crutches!

Im in a different group this time as I have moved house and country since last being in slimming world lol! Im glad I have a few friends doing it with me again this time round!

Anyone else out there who restarted last week?

I have been "restarting" for the past week and keep sabotaging myself but am having a good day today. I lost 10lb when doing SW last time and then life just got in the way. I now have to lose a stone before I get to my original starting weight from when I started slimming world the first time around. so that's about 19lb to get back to where I was this time last year - eek! Looking forward to my sw friendly roast though :) x

Welcome back to SW, it certainly sounds like you're organised and motivated.

How far off is the dress from fitting? I always say anything is possible if you're determined (and have some spanx pants!!).

Last time I tried it on (in october) The dress goes over me it just doesnt zip up! Dont know what the weight sitution has been like since then - maybe i should retry it on!

I do have the option (?!?!?) of putting two dresses together but would like to avoid that if possible, I feel like the fatty bridesmaid - all the rest of the girls are like size 8 or 10 and then there is me at a lovely size 18/20! Though hopefully I will be a size 16 by the time of the wedding!

My first weigh in is tomorrow and I will be happy if I lose but not be shocked if I dont, as I havnt been able to control foods and how they are cooked!

Just wanted to say good luck and it is possible to lose the weight before the wedding. Try on the dress now and see what the damage is. Are you also exercising? This will help with the toning too :)

Good luck tomorrow at weigh in.

If it's mostly just a case of doing the zip up, I reckon that should be do-able by the beginning of March.

I'm an 18/20 at the moment and having yo-yo'ed a bit over the years, I know i'll have to lose about 3-4 stone to be a comfortable size 16, so try not to beat yourself up if you don't reach that size by the beginning of March - regardless of the size on the label, you'll look and feel fantastic!
