Quick question, not for points values but in general, what is the difference between shrimps and prawns?! :)

Prawns are ickle little things but shrimp tend to be bigger and more substancial. Both have the same pp value per gram. :)

Isn't it the other way round? Shrimps are tiny little things. Prawns are much bigger.

Shrimps are the little ones and prawns are bigger, king prawns even bigger and langoustines are the ones with the shell/head claws.

My family have fishing boats and use creels to land prawns.

Must be different in the UK. It's definitely my way around in the US.

Tesco seems to refer to everything like this as prawns. Even the tiny ones.
