I ache from head to toe. I managed to do my walk in 1 hour and 15 minutes. The wind was against me the all the way there. Note to self: Do not wear jeans and thick jumper next time! I dread to think what I looked like when I arrived. Once I collected my son I got my second wind and we went into the park and for the first time in years my big fat bum managed to fit on the swings! The look on my sons face when I went down the slide was a picture. Oh to be a kid again. Much fun.
 
Today's food intake:

B: Scrambled Eggs, 2x Small Brown bread, toasted (HEB)
L: Left over chicken curry from last night. Syn Free SW stylie. Have to say though, I must've eaten all the chicken last night, I only saw about two very small chunks of meat left in the bowl! How rude! :p
D: Fish in Parsley Sauce with lots of Broccoli, Green Beans, Sprouts & Peas. (1.5 Syns)
S: Freddo (5 Syns)

Drinks: Water and Sugar Free Ribena & Semi-Skinned Milk (HEA)

Today's Exercise: 2 x 20 Jumping Jacks (Behind closed doors and curtains!) + 4 Mile walk against the wind, where is summer! (1 hour and 15 mins) + 30 minutes actually staying active with my son in the park + another 20 minute walk home from town = Shattered and ready for bed.

Weigh in day! Will be leaving for group soon. Really excited about today's weigh in. If all goes to plan I will getting my 2 stone award and club 10! I really want to get this. Today would have been my nan's birthday. We lost her to cancer in 2010 and she was my rock in life and probably the only person who ever truly understood me. I still have her number in my contacts. I just can't bring myself to delete it. Happy birthday Nan.

Legs are killing from all the activity from yesterday!

ha-ha yes I am home now. I stopped off at my brothers place to show him my certificates. I came home with 3 today :)

I did it, i bloody did it! Got my Club 10!!! Long way to go yet but I am really happy. I worked my backside off all week long and the scales have rewarded me. 6 lb loss this week. Whoop Whoop!!! I have cried numerous times today and for once they have all been happy tears :D

Junk food is now banned from my house and my stomach. I will never give up on my chocolate but I can gladly say that I will never eat another burger as long as I live ;)

Morning Siggy :) here to subscribe and support you along your journey to slimness :) congratulations on your loss so far- keep it up.

Today in group we all pulled straws. Inside the straw was a mini challenge. Some said "try a syn free day" others said "Walk rather than drive" I pulled out one that said "Eat at least 5 different choices of Healthy Extra's over 7 seven days." Challenge accepted! This will be hard for me because I only ever use the healthy extra's for my toast and hi-fi bars.

That's a really good idea!

I feel pants today, mentally. This is what happened to me last night. At the back of my flat are some garages and its completely private. There is a group of lads who work in one of the garages and for the last two years have been nothing but pleasant to me and kind. When he wants water to clean his cars I supply it. They are like neighbours and we always help eachother out. They are only 19-20 years old and are quite mature for their ages. I'm nearly 40 so have no interest in them what so ever but get on well with them, or so I thought. Anyway, yesterday around dinner time they was out there working. I walked out of my back gate and saw someone there Ive never seen before. He looked over at me and said to his mate "Here you go, there's your bird for the night" To which the young lad replied with utter disgust "No bloody thanks!" The other guy then went on to say "It's ok, its dinner time she will take to you macdonalds" Then all four guys started creasing up with laughter. I wanted to walk over to the guy and slap him silly but as usual I put my head down and went on my way. I am used to hearing this crap, there isnt a lot I havent heard but this really hurt. It's totally blown what little confidence I had started to work on. I hate men sometimes. What makes me even more mad is this guy doesnt even know me. He was only about 5'5 if that. Ten years older than me easily, bald and had a bigger bloody beer belly than I ever could have. Ironic.
People are so cruel. They really don't get the damage it causes someone. All very well people telling me to rise above it, and I will but that doesn't take away the pain. I'm on a right downer.

When you are slim people will still have things to say... You keep your head up high sweetheart. These idiots will never change! But YOU CAN AND WILL xx

Yesterday:

B: Bran flakes and SS milk (HEA & B)
D: SW Cottage pie with Sprouts and Broccoli. Mullerlight.
S: Hi-fi bar (6 syns)

Sunday:

B: Bran Flakes, SS Milk (HEA+B) + 2 boiled eggs
D: Roast Chicken, potatoes, sprouts, peas, broccoli, green beans, stock and herbage.
Mullerlight.
S: Hi-fi Bar (6 Syns)

Was wide awake at 6am this morning so booted up the Wii for some much needed exercise. 30 minutes Wii Fit and 15 minutes exercise bike. For the first time ever I actually finished the free jogging session, without stopping.

Today's food diary went right out the window. Didn't even have the roast, hi-fi bar just isn't going to cut it today neither. Sick to the back teeth of fruit and Muller Lights today too. My son had some Pringles earlier today and before I even realised what I was doing I was eating them too! It's not going well at all.

Ended up having Chicken, Tomatoes, Onion with some pasta, which was really nice but I ruined it tonight by having another bowl of Bran flakes. BOREDOM! Even now typing this I am thinking about what I can eat and I am not even hungry. Clearly haven't mastered a new way of thinking towards food and changing habits.

I always seem to do this. Whenever I get a big loss it's like my tiny brain cell goes into meltdown mode and I eat everything in sight...sabotage!

I know what you mean. There is only so much fruit and yogurt and bran flakes you can eat before its coming out of your ears.

I know a lot of people who do this, including myself (which may help you). I treat myself after weigh in and eat whatever I want to. I have my WI in the evening and I come home and have a big bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes and a bar of chocolate.. Or even a chicken wrap and chips one day.. BUT THEN 100% AFTER THAT.

and I still lose. So I'm looking forward to my treat after WI... Some people don't like the idea but it works for me so I will continue until it does.
 
Thank you Rozie, that's something to think about. I really miss chocolate. Freddo's are great but sometimes I look at the tiny thing and just laugh. I said from day one when if I can lose 2 stone before my birthday I will have a treat... Tiramisu :rolleyes: I used to love making Nigella Lawson's Baileys Tiramisu. So wrong yet so right. :p

Do you eat many syns in the day? I tend not to anymore and then have a snicker bar for 15 syns! LOL x
 
Not really, no. I may use one or two for margarine if I have toast. I use them mainly on hi-fi bars but I am going to give them a miss this week and see how I get on.
