Hi Aussiemaid - welcome to the board and to SW! If you look at the thread in the 'sticky' section above called 'slimming world advice for newcomers' it will answer a lot of your questions. The plan is a lot to take in all at once but it soon 'clicks' and becomes second nature. Good luck with your weight loss journey.

It's the threads that stay on the board permanently - just take a look at the sections above on the main page. There's also a sticky for overseas members which might help.
Welcome, Aussiemaid. Just joined here as well and although I'm living in the UK I'll try and do SW at home. The tips in the "sticky notes" are a great help as are all the members here. Good luck!

STS - Stayed The Same
SOTW - Slimmer Of The Week
SOTM - Slimmer Of The Month
SW - Slimming World
WW - Weight Watchers
VLCD - Very Low Calorie Diet
TFR(D) - Total Food Replacement (Diet)
WI - Weigh In
IYKWIM - If You Know What I Mean
PCOS - PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome ( had to look that one up myself, comes up now and then.. )
TTC - Trying To Concieve
