    Does anyone know how many grammes of fat is in a pound?

    I converted grams to ounces and then ounces to pounds (using an online calculator because I am bad at maths) and it came out to:
    0.035 oz = 0.002187 lb

    There are 454 grammes in a pound.

    Check it out by looking in the front of your dairy. You could also look at a tub or packet of margarine - what used to be a half pound of marg is now slightly bigger and is actually 250 grammes.
