St Dalfour Raspberry High Fruit Content Spread

This contains no sugar and is sweetened with grape juice. Can anyone tell me the syn value? Nutritional info is

Top Two Ingredients:
Raspberries 51%
Grape Juice

Per 100g:
229 Kcals
<0.6g Protein
56g Carbohydrate
56g (of which sugars)
0.3g Fat
<0.1g (of which saturates)
2.8g Fibre
Trace Sodium

As this contains no free food allowance, you can calculate the Syns by using the formula 20 calories = 1 Syn. Therefore, 100g = 11.5 Syns . . . quite high I'm afraid!
 
Thanks Stevie, I did this and the rest of the math to calculate that it works out at 1.2 syns per 10g (or two tea spoons), but then saw in my book that reduced sugar jam is 0.5 sysns per 2tsp so wasn't sure if that was right. I only want a little bit in my porridge so one syn isn't too bad, but may change to reduced sugar jam in future :)
 
It's probably due to it's "High fruit content" - all cooked/tinned/stewed fruit is relatively high in Syns. But like you say, 1 Syn for a little bit in your porridge isn't too bad at all :)
