Starting LL next week

weasey, unfortunately, your photos aren't showing up. :-/ You really are such an inspiration. I bet you feel like a million bucks! *she says american-ly* Lucky for me, I don't socialise a great deal. I'm such a home body and have a handful of close friends with children and our socialising is mainly playdates. I'm boring like that :p Do you mind me asking if you have problems with saggy skin after the weight loss?

I had my health form signed by my GP today! Cost £15. Really glad I didn't get an appointment with my regular GP as apparently he doesn't agree with LL and won't sign for it. I dopped by my LL counsellor and she weighed me (I am actually down 6 lbs from last week at my consultation!) She also took my first photo and I got my record booklet. First meeting is tomorrow evening! :)

The photos are showing up for me. I'm using the iPad app - how are you accessing the site?

I won't be wearing a bikini that's for sure! But given that I've lost over 9 stone and have been big throughout my adult life I'm actually suprosed by how good my skin is! I have some lose skin on my tummy, thighs and arms but nothing I'm too worried about. Also I've heard that it improves over the 12 months after weight loss so we'll see. I thought I'd have to have surgery but I don't need it - so that's good!

Good luck at your first meeting!

Hi Weasy, I don't believe it, that can't be you, you look like an really old woman before your started, and now you look like you have only just left college. - Fantastic, absolutely. Your family and friends must be so proud of you.

Thank you for sharing your before and after photos.

Lol!!! So I've gone from 75 to 25?!! Hardly! I'm 43 now and will never look 25 again - but a girl can dream! Before I started losing weight I thought I would look older at the end. Without my fat to even out any wrinkles etc. Not the way it worked out though - I am a bit more wrinkly but in other ways look younger. Chuffed.

Hi yesdarling, how are you doing, how are your first few days going?
I have started also, had first meeting, and first meal, although no porridge, but have had a bar, cut up, and water.
Good Luck.

hi bradgirl, I just posted on your thread ;) All is well here so far. Hoping the headaches don't kick in too badly. Just had my first vanilla shake and added a bit of black coffee. Actually tastes really nice!

day five and I want food so badly. Craving salty foods. And, just about want to cave. :(

Keep going you have managed to get to Day 5, you can do it.

I do know what you mean, but went to party on Saturday night, and there was FOOD!
But I managed it, mind over matter, and I succeed it and I was very pleased with myself.

We know we can do this, and weighing in day is near - keep going, fill up with water, hot( leaf) tea....or cold!
Mind of matter.

Hi yesdarling,
How are you doing and have you managed to stick to it?
I am thinking of doing calorie counting, never done it before, and think it might suit my lifestyle better.

On holidays with LLL, all seems to be ok. Having my 3 packets and 1 meal seems to work very well .

Hi, How are you getting on with the plan?

I am getting on very well and pleased I have done it.. Have had a great result 18lbs in total. Have been on Lite for 4 weeks, and it's fine. 3 packets for meals from breakfast, lunch and snack. Tend to have real food for dinner, Inbetween the packets tend to have water, black tea or coffee. If I know I am eating out for lunch then have a soup for the dinner time.

I am away at present self catering and the packets plus 1 meal suitsme. I am not missing wine and find it easy to say no to nibbles, which has surprised me. I think the weight loss so far is helping me loads.

I am just so pleased I took the step
