Syn free crisps

So had a go at Syn free crisps. Really nice, stopped a craving happy days

Mentioned it on another board n was told they weren't Syn free and despite asking how I never got an answer.

So how is a potato and fry light not Syn free? And if that's the case surely the chips aren't Syn free either?!

After a week where I thought I'd got my head round it I'm now baffled!
 
Slimming World call it food abuse.

If you ate a jacket potato you'd have one potato but if you made that potato into crisps then you might eat that potato plus even more and still not be satisfied.

Ah thanks. It makes sense. But I guess at the end of the day like anything it's about control. 1 small potato n being satisfied is a lot different to 2-3 big ones n still scoffing! Thanks though :)
 
You syn them as if you'd had them on a red day.
 
What would that make them?...and does that mean we do sin SW chips if not ate as part of a meal?
 
100g of potato without skin is 4 syns on a red day.
 
Ah well I only used a small potato never 100g :-o

But a potato. Use a mandolin or slice really really thin

Spray microwave plate with a bit of fry light. Put the slices on the plate but don't overlap them. Ping for 4-5 minutes on full power. Mine were starting to burn at 5 mins
