Does anyone know the Syn value for plantain crisp ? Plus a subway sandwich ?
If I was to make a sandwich at home with the same ingredients out in the shop. Would the Syn value be different. Plus if I had a turkey sandwich with turkey, lettuce , tomato and the butter would I just count the butter as Syn as the bread is healthy extras on an EE day

A subway would be 1 syn for 20 cals as there is no free food allowance, check the website for calories.

If you made it yourself it would be much better- you would just have to syn the bread/butter etc and the filling depending on what day your doing.

You can use the bread as a hx but the bread has to be wholemeal, nothing else :)

There are lots of threads about Subway in the eating out section. Your italian/hearty italian/wheat breads are 9 syns each then the chicken and turkey are syn free free. So you can't use the 20 calorie rule I'm afraid. You would be extra syns for cheese and any sauces you have. But you can have a chicken or salad bowl for free on EE without dressings.
