Thai Food

Hi lovelies,

Lucky girl that I am, am out for dinner tonight. We are going to a Thai restaurant and was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what would be the best food options? Am thinking nothing deep fried or creamy, any suggestions greatly appreciated! xx;)

Hi Nikki - Oh, I love Thai food, but, have avoided it since being on SW (well, eating out, I'll do a Thai style at home)

would go for soups to start (not creamy coconut),
Poh taek (mixed seafood soup) , Som Tum (spicy vegetable salad)
Avoid red/green curry - too much coconut milk :( (the best bit lol)
go for steamed/baked fish, noodles & stir-frys....
Pad thai, fragrant rice,
Hor neung mok pla (hot & sour steamed fish, Pat gaprao gai (minced chicken with chillies and lime leaves)

Maybe just nick a few spoonfuls of the really naughty stuff from your dining companion, so you don't miss out.... or take it as a flexiday

Hope you have a great time
