THUNDERSTORM IN DECEMBER!!??

In the middle of a Thuderstorm here (north Essex nr Stansted).

Seems strange in the middle of December. Anyone else? If so where are you?

Was it forecasted?

There's been some really weird weather I know.

We had a thunderstorm last night - at least I think it was!! Crashing bangs and rain pelting against the windows - it bluddy woke me up and my youngest was so scared she got into bed with me!

We're in Newcastle upon Tyne. Maybe it's hopped down sarf to you???

Those poor people in Kensal Rise who suffered severe house damage due to that tornado!!

My heart goes out to them - it must be horrific to have your home wrecked - especially so near to Christmas.

It's so hard to believe that we in the UK have more tornadoes per square mile than the US!! Even if they are mainly ickle ones!
