two weeks in

I guess i should have done this in the beginning, but never mind here we go.

I Suppose i'm doing this now because i had my first major
disaster on Saturday and I feel rather crappy with my self. I’m hoping that I can look back on this and see what my trigger times are so I can avoid them in the future.

I’ve really enjoyed the diet and found the first full two weeks quite easy and the SS suited me. However this third week has been difficult. I’ve got quite a stressful job and am still doing some of the cooking for the family [hubby and 2 teenage kids], but I know that that’s no excuse for cheating.

I have been thinking of having a word with my CDC to see if the 790 programme would be better for me as I really miss sitting with the family and eating. This was a big part of our ‘family time’ as we always eat as a family at night.

Thing is I know I can do SS and just need to control myself better when my chatterbox gets louder and louder.

I’ve got my third weigh in tomorrow and I’m going to promise myself that I will update this on a nightly basis for a while to self reflect on what I am doing and how I can make things better for myself. :cry:
 
Spudsbit, Keep your chin up, you are doing well.
I agree that meal times are tough, this is the time I catch up on school gossip and problems etc...

From this week I am going back to the table with a BIG glass of fizzy water, I prefer to eat my evening meal later than dinner time so I won't sit and eat... would this work for you?
Sitting with a bowl of yummy hot soup and a glass of bubbly? At least you can join in with the socialisation.
 
Wk 3 weigh in

Well had my weigh in today .... a day early and i've lost 3lb. i'm really surprised with that given Saturday but hey.....i'll learn and move on. I hate chicken soup but love chicken crisps so got a Chicken and Mushroom soup today and made crisps......They were FANTASTIC. So i'm going to ask if i can change some of my others so i can have them again.

I've promised myself that i'm going to have a good week this week... a personal challenge to myself.... so here goes>>>>>>>
 
You will do it Spuds, we all have wobbly days, just come and post if it all gets too much, infact come and post anyway!!!

Well had a really stressful day in work? Why is it no matter what you do it is never good enough. I’m a social worker in a child protection team and I celebrated my two years with the team today…..

I can’t wait to go back to a charity like Barnardo’s where I was for 4 years or an organisation that respects their staff a bit more that my current place does.

SS going well this week and I’m determined not to give in a cheat. I’ve set myself a target and I’ll let everyone know on Wednesday next week if I manage to do it.

Daughter is preparing for Uni and sorting out her room…… we are swapping rooms around and for the first time ever our 15yearold will be in a big room. We’ve just come back from dropping 6 bags off at the tip.

I’m thinking very positive at the moment and have a clear diary tomorrow to get some paperwork done so here’s to fingers crossed.

One of the reasons I left the NHS was because of the way nurses / Midwives were treated.... if you want the best out of employees you have to give more to them... thats why we have so many dissalusioned public servcie workers,.....

You seem very positive at the moment, Its great.... scary though sending a child off to Uni? my eldest is getting ready to go into yr 9 and that terrifies me!
