uh-oh...Toby carvery...

I had good intentions, - until I saw the yorkshire puddings.... :O I only had one, bit of gravy, 2 roast potatoes and a tiny bit of stuffing, but have no idea of the syn values. I've not used any syns at all today as I was saving them for this haha. Even skipped dessert and watched everyone else eating ice cream and chocolate fudge cake
Anyone give me a rough estimate of the syns I had?

yorkshire pud i would say 5, roast pots on average 4 syns but if fried would be probably about 6 each.. stuffin I have no idea.. maybe 3?.. gravy another 3?.. always better to say more.. so I would say about 25 to be really sure??

Sorry to be a bearer of even badder news but, the yorkshire puds are as lot more than 5 , the small frozen ones are about 3 each n the toby carvery ones are about 10 times bigger x

Hi I just thought I would say that the toby carver near me only does medium size frozen yorkshirers which are around 5 syns so i think they may differ from each pub just a thought

LOL I've had Toby's and lost weight even with the ice cream, but its not as good as I, like you, thought. It was my C who popped up and burst my bubble about Tobys when another lady in group said she had been to one. The lady too thought it was a really good choice. Better than others though I reckon.

We're off to the Toby tomorrow night for FiL's birthday I'm going to eat what I want as it's his treat and he doesn't like paying out money for meals out -lol

I tend to avoid the yorkies and spuds and just have meat and veg, and count the syns on the gravy and the sauces.
