@jim Thanks for that info jim not intending on having such an experience.

I was wondering if anyone has drank coke zero? Is this a good or bad idea I realize that water is important but a soda would be nice????

Jim Im assuming that is two pictures of you? Wow Fair play to you inspirational. Im happy for you, I have pics in my phone I took only a few weeks ago when the comparison is that dramatic ill post them. Impressive jim far play.

OTL I didn't drink sodas before I did atkins.. but I know some you drink fanta because it's uses splenda.. I think coke zero may have asparmate or however you spell it which may slow down ketosis. But if you have to have a soda try the diet drinks with splenda.. I'm rreally not sure which ones but I know fanta does :)
 
Well I didn't weigh in on my official weigh in on Monday due to a bad weekend and therefore decided to weigh in on Friday and keep that as my regular WI day...I have lost 2lbs which is good as I have been socialising a lot this week, lots of wine but have been good with the food. Oh and as some of you may know I have a new job starting on Monday, I drove over there yesterday so that I know where I am going on Monday morning in the rush hour traffic (to ease the stress) and came across a gym nearby which I have joined on a trial basis for 3 months. My method is to use it either early morning or in the evening to avoid the traffic.....Now I just have to stay motivated...Jx

Question Jane you are 5'9, I wish I was as tall as you, and your BMI is in the normal range and your aren't overweight. you have only 10 pounds to your goal weight, have you moved on to OWL?

Hi More, I am tall and yes my BMI is in the healthy range but I want to lose another 10 lbs, as that is where I feel comfortable....

I have kind of moved to OWL, but not really counting the carbs properly just having a few more nuts, cheese or veg here and there....I want to continue losing a lb a week if I can for a few more weeks...

The gym should help too, hopefully!!

I weighed in this morning and have lost 1lb... better than nowt I suppose!

Em sent me a Txt, she has lost 4lbs, whoo hoo, she is now in the 15's and has left the 16's for good. Well done Em. I'll update her diary with the full Txt message.
 
I can't say I have, it might be quite carby as well i suspect.
 
LOL @ Laura I was never really big on wine until I moved to Europe. I use to drink Maddog 20/20 and those wine breezers or cheap wines that the bums in the park would drink and it was good to me LOL we bought it because it was cheap and when you are in uni you never have money LOL.. aww bailey very good.. but for me I'm a beer gurl all the way..

I actually weighed myself this morning because my belt is very loose, I'm 3lbs down, 12st 13lb and a bit, this is good, it's all prep for the Christmas splurge. :D
 
If you mean the Atkins bars and stuff OTL, no I didn't, they weren't around back when I started Atkins. I did and do eat a lot though.
