What a depressing start ....

A week in and what have I lost - 2lbs!! 2 flippin lbs - was at 3 yesterday and I didn't cheat and I did exercise and TOTM is NOT due but I had a baked potato for tea and I find I always gain 1lb after eating a baked potato!

So flippin annoying, I've been really really good, OK didn't start exercising til Monday but have done some every night, not cheated, been really really good :

1 cereal bar for brekky : 150cals
1 shake for lunch + 1 snack bar OR low fat crisps OR Banana
Mean Meal 600cals
Snack for evening treat

ARGHH!!! Not getting me down tho (honestly) - annoyed but find it funny all the same - have to weigh myself every day to keep me on track so will see what tomorrow brings!

2lbs is a goo loss. Maybe if you know potato makes you gain you should try to limit your carbs a little, especially before weigh in xx

Yeh, just didn't think yesterday and fancied having BP for tea as not had one in a while!!

2lbs is good I agree but for a first week is pants and I hate being under the 5lbs lost mark - 2 or 3lbs is "put-on-able" on a really really bad day so I need to get past the 5lbs mark to know that it's not all gonna go back on in one day!

So frustrating when I've been really good - may not be getting my chinese for my birthday next week after all!!

2lbs is really good and as you said the BP prob gained you that extra 1lb but I bet if you weigh yourself tomorrow it will be off. Did anyone watch that extreme diets show on Channel 4 last night? The diet where you get an injection and goes by your individual body type and what foods make you put weight on or restrict your weight loss?! How brilliant, the guy stayed off these particular foods and in 1 week lost 1stone 1lb!!!! Amazing or what. So my point is... maybe the BP is one of your devil foods?
I had a bit of a test on myself this past week and upped my cals and lowered my exercise and so far an additional lb is off! I think I might have been eating my muscle away and not fat with not eating enough!!!

I know what you mean, are you sure you are eating enough ! I agree with Laura, it is scary to try but it may be the problem. I am upping the cals this week, like you I hardly lost anything this week and had been really good.

Allie thats exactly what happened to me and it was cos I was under eating......... I upped my cals and I have dropped 3lb already......

Well, what a major blow out I had on Thursday! I could taste that Big Tasty with Bacon from McDonalds and I was so fed up with only losing 2lbs I had one!! Had a meal + a McFlurry and the next day I lost 1lb!!

And then today another one!

BPs are definately my devil food you are spot on with that one so if Im having one it's gonna be well before weigh in day!

Am happier now am at 4lbs so far - have also changed my certail bar from the yoghurt covered ones (that were on offer) to the Special K ones (that were on offer - can you see a theme here!) and I love those ones.

Saturdays are hard tho with the kids being round and just wanting to nibble but am being good and will be on my feet all day in the shop tomorrow so that will be good exercise!!
