Whats your new SW food discovery??

I bought it from Tesco :) xx

Aw wish I had looked there yesterday :-\ z

Hi there,

Just seen a post on Facebook advertising new McCain Ready Baked Jackets (I know they're more expensive than doing your own but handy for work or when you don't have much time!)

I put the nutritional info into the calculator and it comes up as FREE on Extra Easy and Green.

Hope that helps someone!! xx
These will make jacket potatoes for lunch in work so much easier. The microwave at my office never cooks them right.

Are they out now?

Golden Dragon Salt & Pepper seasoning.

A syn free seasoning that i've been using on chicken and genuinely tastes like salt & pepper chicken from the Chinese takeaway! Couldn't be happier- especially having it with stir fry and noodles- it's like having a proper chow mein :D

Never had salt and pepper chicken from Chinese.... Intrigued now so will add this to my list to try. Can you get it in Tesco/Sainsburys?

I got it from a foreign food specialist in Liverpool, one of these places completely full of weird and wonderful herbs and spices. I've just had a look on the Tesco site and can't find it, nor on Sainsbo's

If you don't have a local foreign food place I could post you some? beware, it's got a bloody good kick to it!!

This actually sounds amazing, I adore salt and pepper chicken! thanks for the tip!

You can add the seasoning to a bit of flour to give it that "proper" restaurant edge, but it was tasty enough without the extra syns!!

Melba toast-A-MAZ-BALLS!!!

Just discovered melba toast and im in love!! I am trying not to eat bread but really crave it in the evenings but someone in my class mentioned about melba toast so i bought some today and worked out that three slices of it is 2 syns, so had one with fat free cottage cheese, one with cottage cheese and ham and one with cottage cheese and pickled gherkins and it was lush and really satisfied my craving for toast-all for 2 syns-im a very happy (and full) bunny :)

I bought them from my local shop, their made by 'van der meulen' but theres 30 in the box for 85p so i was chuffed. Im sure you can get them from some of the bigger stores, the ones the lady in my class were talking about she says worked out to be 1/2 syn each and they were from sainsburys in a box of 12 i think-their really nice!! xx
