Yankee candles

Anyone use these? I've been using these for a long time now, when I lived in a student house my room suffered badly from damp and these were the only things (apart from opening a window) that helped to get rid of the smell! I don't use the candles as they're quite expensive, I use the wax 'tarts' as they are a lot cheaper so I can chop and change fragrances without spending more money buying more of the jar candles.

I like the fruity, spicy and foody smells. I've just got some new fragrances and one of them, called 'spiced orange', smells exactly like the orange and clove Christmas decorations you make. Perfect for when we get colder weather - at the moment I'm sticking to the fruitier smells for summer!

I have a yankee candle obsession
There are 32 of the large jars in the living room at the moment :p, Im now stockpiling them for when we move back to the uk -I get them on offer here at 2 for €22 ;) -I think I have 30 stashed so far :D
Just don't buy the spiced pumkin one  -smells ok in the jar -but when you light it it smells like curry
I love the fruity ones and the island spa, beach walk etc -they are lovely and clean smelling...
Im burning lilac blossom at the moment.

I use both Yankee and Woodwick - both are lovely but WW is a bit annoying crackling in the background when you want some 'quiet'!!

I've been using the Yankee tarts for years too :) I like fruity and floral smells, plus things like clean linen etc. I have a nice one in the car (not a tart!) called beachwalk or something?

We have a Yankee Candle shop in Reading, but I can't go in - even walking past the door makes me sneeze!

I do like Diptyque candles - very expensive, but you only need to have them alight for about half an hour to scent the whole room, then you can blow them out and the effect lasts all day. So they last for ever.
