Omg food envy!! :)

I'm trying not to be so strict on myself, it causes me to go off the rails completely else! I will be staying clear of chocolate, sweets and biscuits though because they're just no good for you. At my slimmest I ate full fat dairy, small amounts of carbs and lots of protein... this is my aim now

That's what I do too. Eating like this when you're trying to lose weight sets you up a million times better for maintaining.

I took a picture this morning as a 'before'
It's actually ok but I would love to have lots of muscle tone.
Excuse the tattoo, it's not finished yet (needs to be shaded and more roses up my side)

It looks to me like you have the upper muscles coming along nicely? That's sit ups, crunches, v sits etc I think?

The lower abs are very hard. You need to do scissors, leg raises, butterfly kicks, planks, reverse crunches. I find them incredibly hard compared to upper abs. And one of the PTs in the gym told me (rather bluntly) that "you need to get rid of the thick layer of flab if you expect to see defined lower abs". Well thank you for that! Haha

And I'm not saying you have a layer of flab, you look great :)

I find sit ups very easy but lower stomach work, ergh.
Having kids has taken its toll on my poor stomach muscles but I will get some sort of tone back there.... its just gonna take lots of work. Meh.

I will definitely try leg raises etc though... thanks xx

Also my surgeon friend who repairs busted stomach muscles said planks are the be all and end all. Certainly if there is any kind of separation in the muscles from child birth.

I'm not trying to sound like a &@"? But I've dot really good at the lower exercises. Just need to get the flab off :-(

My anxiety/depression has reared it's ugly face... I seem to have lost any motivation I had for exercise/eating well :-(
I'm going to try ease my way back in slowly....

Aiming for 1200cals.

Half a banana
Cocoa orange nakd bar

Lunch-

Wholemeal pitta bread
Chicken pieces, mixed with light mayo and pepper
Salad

Venison burger
Crusty roll
Cheese slice
