Syn free crisps - and they are better than Walkers!

I've found this actually quite interesting with the whole debate. Also, what difference do skins make by the way? I sometimes leave the skins on my chips, like I would roast potatoes or whatever and I always count them as free. I don't understand why foods suddenly become 'un-free' if they're...

    Ingredients

Does anyone know the values of things like flour, sugar, eggs etc? I mean in terms of baking, so you can work out the number of syns in home cooking etc. as I can't find anything about it in the one book I have :sigh:

    Syn Values

How many syns in rainbow drops? I know someone's put a value somewhere but I can't find it and it doesn't say for how big a bag!

    Shopping bill higher on SW?

Oh and when I was in ASDA yesterday they were doing 2 bags of white potatoes for £2. That's enough Slimming World chips to last me a fortnight at least!

    Shopping bill higher on SW?

Yeah it's all about shopping around for bargains. I've been shopping at Tesco as they have 4 Muller lights for £1 whereas ASDA have 4 mullerlight for £2! Also, Tesco strawberries are £1.49 a punnet at the mo, with 50p for 4 kiwi fruits. I pretty much live on free rice/pasta on Green and that's...

    LUNCH IDEAS

OH! I don't know about red days, but on green days Ainsley Harriot or Sammys couscous is free! All you need to do is mix the packet with hot water so if you've got a kettle and a bowl at work you're sorted if you dash to Tesco!

    LUNCH IDEAS

I usually cook something I'm afraid. As a Green'er I have spaghetti, passata, veg, quorn swedish balls and parmesan. If I'm out and about or at work I make up a pasta salad or sandwiches using my healthy extras. Just remember 20cals is approx. a syn so if you go to M&S or Tesco, you can at least...

    breakfast ideas

I usually have strawberries with a Mullerlight yoghurt or plum tomatoes on toast (using one slice of bread as 1/2 HEXb) or I have quorn sausages and mushrooms (f on green). I prefer to have a 'free' breakfast because I'm not much of a breakfast person and like to have my syns and healthy extras...

Thanks, I've been thinking of going on eBay and trying to get the books. I know a woman on there is selling her whole lot at an alright price but it's weighing up the price she's selling to the joining and first class fee. On a very tight budget at the moment having just moved so any spends have...

    Plateau

Hi, I'm new to the forum and have joined because I feel I need support from other SW-'ers. I originally started dieting using calorie counting with SparkPeople. I lost 2 1/2 stone when I stuck to it. However, I started getting dizzy and hit a massive plateau and figured I wasn't getting my...
