    Mine was getting my own house. My mum doesn't eat garlic so meals at home were traditional English, my own home turned into a curry, garlic bread zone, washed down with a glass of wine or beer. Hard habit to get out of so I love cooking healthier curries and pastas.

    It's a hard habit to break. A nice glass of red when you've finished doing what needs to be done. I've pledged to not buy any bottles of wine this week and ill stick to sugar free cordial. Did it last night and I actually slept better

    Slimming world doesn't really work well with ready meals, even jars of curry sauces etc are high syns. Great idea to freeze things

    That's a great idea, getting a day's head start, lots of people eat in their usual way up to going to class but then your first week an be misleading. Good luck

    Good luck, you'll be surprised how much you can eat, it feels wrong at first that you'll lose when you have quite bulky meals but trust it.

    Iceland do quite a lot of free things, I love the Extra Large Minted Lamb Shanks (from the fridge, not the frozen ones) they are syn free. The frozen ones are 4 1/2 syns

    Found slimming world easier as long as you have prepared. Cold slices of meat, fruit, muller lights, pasta, you can eat lots but sometimes just miss the flexibility of WW!

    I found that when I did weight watchers. I was ok at losing the weight but couldn't get my head around going each week and being told I'd stayed the same once I was at goal. I ended up a stone under and looking shocking, then had to put weight on for the first time in my life!!

    Need to stop eating Christmas treats!

    Made conscious decision today to stop eating as though it's Christmas. I've binned crisps, nuts and cheeses that remained uneaten! Made a boiled egg, baked beans and a toasted brown roll for breakfast, celery soup, then jacket potato with 30g cheese for lunch. Had a good day even though I'm...
