Self Sabotage - Why Oh Why?

I just ate some cheesecake. I didn't even think about what I was doing! Someone made it for a meeting, and said to me afterwards that there was some cheesecake she had made left over...so off I went and had a piece! What is up with me?!

Self Sabotage - Why Oh Why?

I've just read this thread again, to reassure myself that there are other people who do the same thing I just did. Binged on packets of crisps, I just couldn't stop myself! Now I feel disgusted with myself, sick and disgusted. As someone said further up, have to remember this feeling. After 2...

1/3 Super free foods at breakfast

I've recently started having fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, usually I have cereal and yoghurt with no fruit as I eat at work and don't have the time to be messing around with fruit as well. I would sometimes have a banana after. But now berry season is on (I don't like frozen berries as they...

    Anyone in Scandinavia?

Thank you! I will now be checking for less than 5% fat pork mince (might need my boyfriend's help there...!)

    Anyone in Scandinavia?

Hi! We only have Lidl here :( They do stock really good quark though! I didn't realise about the sugar in yoghurts until reading another thread on here, but I checked out the nutritional info of a Muller Light vanilla yoghurt online and compared it with the yoghurt I bought, which was lower in...

    Anyone in Scandinavia?

Hi! I didn't see the thread had updated so apologies for not replying sooner! I'm finding some things a struggle, mostly the lack of things like frylight and muller light yoghurts! Quorn is now being sold more widely, although no sausages yet. I've been fully on plan for 2 days now and I'm...

    Syns

Hi. You may not find it as it's a Finnish make but it's Ingman Vanilla fat free (Ingman vanilja rasvaton). It's 0.1% fat (which is the same as 100g Muller Light Vanilla). The container is in the fridge though and I'm at work so I can't give you all the info :) I hope I remembered it correctly...

    Syns

So I checked the nutritional info of a Muller Light vanilla, and the vanilla fat free yoghurt I normally buy. Mine is lower in sugar and fat over 175g than a vanilla Muller Light! Win! And today I also found shredded wheat summer fruits! It was the only cereal (except bran flakes and rice...

    Syns

Oh my gosh I didn't realise this! I can't get muller lights so I've been eating fat free yoghurt and I didn't even think about sugar! Will be checking this now when in the supermarket!

Extra Easy: What do you batch cook ???

I've also just discovered Moroccan chickpea and vegetable stew on the SW site which freezes well. Problem is I don't have a saucepan big enough for the quantities I like to cook! Other than that, I batch cook arrabiata sauce, chilli (popular choice), bolognese, various curries (chickpea and...

    HEX B - Oats?

Ah. I don't live in the UK and I don't remember seeing those...I will have to write down the ones that count as a HEXB and see what's in the store! I tend to prefer 'crunchy' cereals like Special K (spotted that wasn't a B choice, but I have been synning it!) that I have with fat free yoghurt...

    HEX B - Oats?

Oh OK! Thank you :) I thought the instant ones were fine as they used to be...oops!!

    HEX B - Oats?

Hello! I was looking for whether just normal, no added sugar, porridge counts as a healthy extra B? I can find Quaker oats (but only multigrain) through the online food diary but not even Quaker Oats original. Thank you :)

Extra Easy Completely lost my motivation

Hi Rosie. Yes, this is totally me. I really can't get my head in gear (quote from SW online, as I just put in my weight for the week. A gain, no surprises there). I've never held much stock in taking photos but actually right now I'm prepared to try anything! I also think having a target is a...

    Online membership?

I use the online membership option (no groups where I live) but I do lose motivation very easily so at times, it is money wasted. However I feel 'more in control' by having up to date info easily available.

Anyone else's husband (or partner) not supportive :-(

First of all, congrats on the smaller jeans! What a great achievement and a wonderful feeling for you :) Yea, I have this issue too. My partner just simply doesn't have to watch his weight. He used to work out a lot and ate huge amounts, now due to his work schedule he's stopped going to the...

    Extra Easy Superfree foods

Thank you for starting this thread, I've been wondering about superfree, and whether it counts if it is in the meal rather than on the side of the plate! I'd also question that there is no need for fruit and veg, even back in the red/green days (I know these do still exist, but I'm talking back...

How many syns do you use?

I try to stick to under 12, when I first started SW a few years ago I was told that for my weight, I should stick to 12 syns. So I've kind of always used that. Except when I was completely off the wagon. When I first did SW I would use as few as possible, but as someone else said, it really did...

    Hello!

Hi, I first want to apologise for not introducing myself using my name, but I teach...an age group where googling you teacher is a fun pastime! I'm 30 and back on Slimming World for about the 4th time. The first time was a good few years ago and I lost about a stone, got to target and was happy...
