can fit in2 trousers sz less YIPPEE

Whoo! Well done! Please for you! The same thing happened to me today - was sorting out my clothes and finally I can fit into a size 16 pair of jeans (albeit asda jeans who are generous when it comes to sizing)! Chuffed, think the last time I was a size 16 was when I was 16 lol! :D

    What exercise works for you??

I find swimming the best form of exercise for me personally, it's easy on the joints too. It took me a while to get over the horror of having to be seen in public in a cossie, but once you get past it, it's very enjoyable. Gives you some 'thinking time' as well!

    having problems

Errors like that will never be because of your computer. They are server errors which means it's a problem their end! Hopefully their IT dept is working frantically to fix the issue!

    slimmingworld website

Yeah I get a server error too. "Could not load file or assembly 'Telerik.Web.UI' or one of its dependencies. There is not enough space on the disk." Sounds like their hard disk is too full?!

    Fed up....

Well, after all my moaning and worrying a week or so ago, I lost 1.5lbs. Then this last week, I've eaten virtually the same things, done the same amount of exercise, yet lost 5lbs at weigh-in today!!! :D It's so weird how you can only loose very little one week, and loose loads the next...

A fun way to work out!

What an awesome thread! I am a big rock/metal fan too! The heavier the better! It's funny but for some reason I just assumed that noone else on here would be! How presumptuous and stereotyping of me! :p

    What are your biggest temptations?

Pizza!!!!!! Without a doubt. Love the stuff! Smash pizza just doesn't cut it for me. Although I did try making one with a tortilla base for 6 syns, that was quite nice but a bit thin and crispy!

    Fed up....

Thanks for all the helpful replies. I dared the weigh-in and had actualy lost 1.5 pounds, so in the space of a day I'd lost 4.5lbs. Got my 3 stone award too. Funny how it works isn't it? I'm going to hide my scales now! My weight loss has slowed down recently though, I am wondering if it's due...

    Fed up....

Cheers guys, I am just baffled as to why it would suddenly happen. I will go to weigh-in, but I hope I am not affected too much by the results. Have others found that their weight loss has slowed after the first 2-3 stone?

    Fed up....

Hello all. I'm a bit fed up today, as I've just weighed myself (I know I shouldn't but I felt 'heavy' and wanted to check). My scales are usually very accurate in comparison with the ones at group. My weigh in is tomorrow, and since last Monday despite strictly following the plan and doing a...

Advice needed re: freezing green recipies

Thanks for the replies, I thought it was probably best to cook first before freezing. I don't know much about quark/low fat fromage frais and wasn't sure! I liked the lasagne too, but like you, I added some passata as the base was a little dry.

Advice needed re: freezing green recipies

Hello all, I have just started batch cooking large amounts of my favourite green recipies, but I am a little confused about what I can and can't freeze. For example, I have made the 'luxury quorn lasagne' from the last Slimming World magazine. It says that you can freeze it, but I have a...

    MONDAY Weigh In

Well done everyone! I lost 6.5lbs this week which is my best loss yet, and I won Slimmer Of The Week! However, I feel like a bit of a fraud as I had my wisdom teeth out last Friday so have only been able to eat stuff like yoghurts and soup for a few days - this has definately helped! :p

    Many vegetarians on Slimming World?

Hi there all, cheers for the replies. I am doing ok but nearly had a blip today when I spotted McDonalds have started doing those Cheese Melt Dipper things again! Cheese has always been something I've found hard to cut down on, but am enjoying the fact that I can use plenty of Laughing Cow...

    Many vegetarians on Slimming World?

That's good to hear, as I don't know many vegetarians on this plan. I would be happy with 2lbs a week, I think I lost a lot more in the first couple as my body adjusted to a much healthier diet! Good luck too! I'll be keeping an eye on this forum from now on! :D

    Many vegetarians on Slimming World?

Hi there, I have just discovered this forum, so hello to everyone! :-) I started Slimming World a few weeks ago, and being a veggie, I have opted to go Green everyday. It's going well so far, with a 9lb loss. I just wondered if there are many other vegetarians on Slimming World, and how it's...
