    anyone on 810 ???

Hi spekykaren and miss jelly tot - I'm on 810 too. It's my 4th week and I'm enjoying it, if a bit repetitive, (but I think that is the fault of my own food choices - ie, cucumber, cucumber, cucumber and maybe a mushroom if I'm feeling adventurous!). I've sprinkled spices (schwartz no-salt ones...

I'm Putting weight ON!! Please help!

Hi AlyB, first of all congratulations on getting to this stage, it's not easy and you've done really well. It's so depressing following the plans and still putting on weight. :sigh: I STS when I went from SS+ to 810, and I too am worried that I'll put on weight when I go up the plans. When...

    Who are you dieting for?

Interesting question. My inital reaction was I am doing it for ME, my kids, my husband, enjoying clothes shopping etc . . . but, (and if I remember this correctly) according to sociologist George Herbert Mead, our view of 'self' is dependant upon how other people see us, so perhaps it's both...

Hi Everyone (new to site, but not to CD)

Thanks for your message Dilly, you did really well resisting temptation to eat after being worked up - the joys of teenage hormones, (still a few years to go with my kids, but not looking forward to them) :-). That long soak sounded lovely though. Take care and good luck for your 2nd weigh in!

    please help get me started

Hi Emma, well done for taking the plunge with CD and getting through day 1. I carry a sort of CD first aid kit in my bag containing paracetamol, breath freshener and lip balm. I found it helped with the headaches at the start and bad breath. Also, as Tasha said, keep drinking the water. Best...

    Hartleys fat-free jelly.

Just a thought, but if I had 'off plan' things, like the seemingly innocuous jelly, then it would open the floodgate to other temptations and make CD harder for me. Best wishes whatever you decide.

Hi Everyone (new to site, but not to CD)

Thanks spottitchsam, and well done to you too - you've had brilliant losses - wow 12lb in week 1, and still losing at a good rate. By the way, hope you have a great time at Butlins (my brood love it). Hi Dilly, hope you are feeling OK on your 2nd week. We've done it once, so we can do it...

Hi Everyone (new to site, but not to CD)

Hello everyone I'm new to this site and I wasn't sure where to post my hello, so hope you don't mind me busting in on here! Bit of background - I lost over 4 stone last year with CD, but struggled to maintain. Shamefully I put 2 stone back on, so started CD again in Jan. I'm here to learn...

A message for all new members

Hello everyone I'm new to this site. I lost over 4 stone last year with CD, but struggled to maintain. Shamefully I put 2 stone back on, but I am here to learn from my mistakes and see how successful maintainers achieve it. Best of luck to everyone - we can do this!
