    Newbie thinking of doing SW.

    Don't try to do it without eating the allowed syns, you need them to keep your metabolism active, and to stop you feeling like you're going without. I'm trying to think of this as a 'real life' diet, where you don't have to be either on or off plan, just some days require more syns than others!!

    Put off fruit after eating....

    I bit into a Cadbury's Whole Nut once and found a large piece of green plastic. The £20 I received from Cadbury eased any concerns I had about the cleanliness of the plastic (although I do break chocolate into single chunks before eating now)

    I wouldn't try to last til Thursday with no syns, as that is far more likely to stop you following SW. I'd just write it off as a bad day and continue with 5-15 syns per day. SW is meant to be a lifestyle plan, and bad days sometimes happen. Good luck for the rest of the week x
