What do you love about dieting?

I'm with the "controllers" and "planners" - it's my project and having seen my body change has really kept me at it... I'm a firm believer that if something is important enough to you - you will achieve it! I make my weight a top priority - I ensure I am not late to exercise class and that I...

What do you think is the hardest part of maintaining? And how do you deal with it?

Thanks Hanlojo - The weekly weighing is so important will deffo be doing that (especially now I get it free!). Icemoose - I guess you're right, I shouldn't fear the weight gain - unfortunately having lost the weight before and regained (plus more) I know it happens - my head is in a much...

What do you think is the hardest part of maintaining? And how do you deal with it?

Hi there, I've only been maintaining for 8 weeks and seeing your posts and threads are a real inspiration, giving me the "yes I can do it!" feeling... For me the hardest part so far has been the knowledge that 95% put the weight back on, plus more... I've lost 77 lbs and the idea of...

    Maintaining your loss?

I'm relatively new to maintaining - only 8 weeks gone... Seeing how well all of you have done and maintaining has given me hope that I can make this a permanent thing....

    Exercise and Diet???

Maybe a bit of high intensity cardio - when I started losing weight (with Weight Watchers) I added an exercise class every few weeks and it really did the trick - I started WW the last Monday in October last year and got to goal June this year - losing 70 lbs. I have now added the gym for...

please don't think iam rude but....

I think sometimes life just kinda gets in the way and staying slim falls into the background... I lost weight first time with weight watchers a few years back - but just as I started maintaining I had a bout of salmonella, changed jobs, moved house away from the meeting that had supported me, I...

    Comparing Yourself

Although it's destructive I do think it's pretty normal to compare yourself with other people... Last night at aerobics I was talking with the other girls - one who has a fabs figure, really in proportion and nicely toned - she said the'd love a waist like I have. We started talking boobs...

What choccies could I have fo 2 points???

I had a fudge in the end - really wanted a crunchie bar but settled instead - 3.5 points is almost half a meal for me so I wasn't going to waste my points on it. Shame about the curly wurlies - like them, but not enough for 2.5 points! Thanks for that Starlight - might get multipack crunchies...

What choccies could I have fo 2 points???

Thanks guys... They give me some good "choccie" options - I should really get some WW chocolates at the meeting at 1.5 points they do the trick - but I forgot!

    sw or ww?

Meetings are great, I always stay as it helps motivate me to the next meeting. Get the monthly pass (if they do it where you are) as you can use e-source and it works out cheaper... Good luck and let us know how you get on!

    sw or ww?

You could spend your points on rubbish if you want, although on the rare times I've done that I always end up feeling ill... If you use the e-source (which I do) you can point everything or can use the leaflet they give you at class which has all the basics. I eat lots of point free stuff to...

    Hi fellow WWs

Lovely to find this forum! I've already been busily scribbling down all the tips hints on the board... I've been going to WWs since October (this is my second time round and I'm determined to succeed this time!) and have lost 43 1/2 lbs so far. I've got about 2 stone left to go and although...

    sw or ww?

Hi missy - I tried SW but couldn't really get my head round it - I seemed to spend my entire time eating Muller lite yogurts and little else as I was never sure what went with what. I prefer WW as everything is allowed - yay! It just seems so much simpler to me. I only lost 16 lbs with SW...
