HELP ME!!

Hi everyone

First time posting but hoping for some support. I began Slimming world last July and lost a stone and a half. But Christmas was a disaster and I traveled for work a little bit and it all went awry, then when I was ready to get back in the game, my consultant changes venues and day - a day i couldnt do.

Needless to say despite switching to another group, I never stayed for the meetings and eventually decided to do it myself. I was terrible at it really need to motivation of being weighed in and held accountable for my weight.

So i rejoined another group and I did the same thing. I have totally lost focus and need a kick up the bum!!! Im getting married in less than 3 months and need to shift this weight!!!

Im going to join another group tomorrow night and force myself to go. Ive bought all I need food wise and am determined to get it right. But whats happened is out of the blue mu resolve just leaves me and I give in to chocolate and when I do i decide the days ruined anyway so totally binge.

Please help any advice welcomed!
 
Good luck! I def find going to group and staying a great motivation to stick at the plan! And if u need a treat along the way allow for it! That's what syns r 4! Use them properly and u'll never feel deprived and need to binge! Well that's the theory! Good luck I hope u find ur way this time round! Let me know how its going! K
 
Sorry to hear your past results.
Start again, you have a goal to work for so go for it!
Start with a weeks menu, only buy the food you need for that, write a food diary of EVERYTHING you eat, show the consultant so she/he can help you, It does work I should know!
We are hear to support you on your journey, any help just ask.
I find that staying each week does help, you make new friends, can talk over problems, and as everyone there is there for the same reason, you don't have to feel out of place!

If your wedding isn't great motivation I don't know what is? Lol.

You can do this - even at 1-2lb a week (which is average) you can lose a stone by the time your wedding comes around (maybe even two!!!) That's a lot!! Just go back to basics as advised above - lots of water and superfree, use your syns and don't forget your hex's. try out some new recipes to keep you interested and vary your diet where you can!

Try doing some body magic to tone yourself up as well (arms in particular) for your wedding photos. I know a lot of brides who hated their arms in their pics. I would recommend the 30 day shred - ad you have plenty of time between now and the wedding to do a few days per week of it. It's only 20 minutes long and done by the women who does biggest loser USA (Jillian Michaels).

If you focus you can def do it!!
 
I'd stay to group if you can you'll leave with motivation & all fired up.

Why not save syns for things you like to eat like chocolate, then you won't feel bad when you eat them, which will help you keep in control.

Take each day as a new day & forget about what you've done the day before as it may be de-motivating you if you've had too many syns.

Have you thought about starting a diary, I've just started one as I get back in target then out of it & struggle to get back in target, at the mo it is keeping me focus & more aware of what I'm eating. You'll also get support from the SW people on here so if you have any questions just ask.
