Extra Easy 1/3 of your plate...is that a rule

I have never been sure about whether you have to fill a third of your plate with super foods or its just better if you do

Please clarify this if you know

I usually do, I love having lots of veg though.

However if I'm having a meal that doesn't lend itself to it, I don't. Such as when I do slimming world chips, fish and mushy pea's. Yes I could probably have some fried mushrooms and onions as well or instead of the mushy pea's, but I love the meal as it is and it's never effected my losses before.
