100 reasons to lose 100lbs

I am starting my diary at 6lbs down and 94lbs to go, and 100 reasons why I want/need to lose 100lbs and get healthy and slim.

I want to lose weight because...
1. I don't want to have a heart attack.
2. I don't want to have a stroke.
3. I want my blood pressure to return to normal.
4. I want to live to a ripe old age.
5. I want to stop worrying I might die due to my weight.
6. I want to feel comfortable with my body.
7. I want to move with ease.
8. I want to stop swelling up.
9. I don't want to get puffed out.
10. I don't want my bones and joints to suffer.
11. I want a jaw line.
12. I want cheek bones.
13. I want only one chin.
14. I want a slim neck.
15. I want collar bones.
16. I want my arms to fit into any item of clothing.
17. I want to be able to get my hand around my wrists.
18. I want to have a super cleavage even if smaller.
19. I want a waist that goes in again.
20. I want my belly to go away and not feel like It needs lifting up to be comfortable.
21. I don't want a fat looking pubic area.
22. I want a bum shape not a bum with sticky out side bits.
23. I don't want a shelf butt.
24. I don't want my legs to rub together getting sore.
25. I don't want calves the same size as some peoples thighs.
26. I want to have boots fit my calves
27. I don't want cankles instead of ankles.
28. I want slimmer feet to fit into nicer shoes
29. I don't want a humpy back neck.
30. I don't want rolls on my back that are as big as boobs.
31. I don't want man hands.
32. I want to sit in chairs and not feel like they might break.
33. I want to sit in chairs with sides and not hurt.
34. I want to fit in one seat with room to spare on the bus.
35. I don't want to define myself by my weight.
36. I don't want others to define myself by my weight.
37. I want to be able to wear jeans.
38. I want to be able to wear dresses without leggings.
39. I want to be able to wear short sleeves.
40. I want to be able to wear strapless.
41. I want to be able to have my photo taken without cringing.
42. I want to look how I know I can feel.
43. I want to skip.
44. I want to run.
45. I want to wear shorts.
46. I want to go our coatless.
47. I want to fit through smaller spaces and not have to worry if I can get passed.
48. I want to wear knickers that aren't designed to tuck my belly in.
49. I want to not have to wear spanx.
50. I want to be lifted up.
51. I want to be able to dress for any situation.
52. I want my eyes to look bigger with less face.
53. I want my lips to look bigger with less face.
54. I want to be an inspiration.
55. I want to go swimming.
56. I want my doctor to not put everything down to weight.
57. I want to gain confidence.
58. I want to have lovers.
59. I want to be desired.
60. I want to live a fuller life.
61. I want to use public loos and be able to get out the cubicle without breathing in.
62. I want certain people to see me slim and rub their noses in it.
63. I want to not be name called in the street.
64. I want to not have to try and hide my belly/butt behind items (bags etc)
65. I want to go for long walks.
66. I want endless energy.
67. I want to be proud of my achievement.
68. I want to not have to think myself of fat before any other quality.
69. I'd like a 69 ;)
70. I want some sex!
71. I want to pose naked for an artist
72. I want a lump removed off my leg
73. I want to buy cheaper clothes
74. I want to buy more clothes
75. I want to dress up
76. I want to feel younger
77. I want to look younger
78. I want to try new things
79. I want to feel self worth
80. I want to scratch my back by reaching round.
81. I want to be normal if only in size.
82. I want to regulate my periods.
83. I want to wear my hair up sometimes without looking out of proportion.
84. I want to stop skin tags.
85. I want to say yes more than no.
86. I want to weigh the amount for one person not two. 'This lift holds 10 people.. I account for 2 of them'.
87. I don't want to end up immobile in a scooter or with sticks.
88. I don't want to encourage cancer.
89. I want to take artistic nude portraits
90. I want to develop a sexy wiggle walk instead of a waddle
91. I want to buy clothes from a real life shop not internet
92. I don't want to be the fattest person I know
93. I want to try wearing dungarees with rolled up legs (for some reason)
94. I want to carry small bags that go over my shoulder and under my other arm
95. I want to have 'cropped' as an option
96. I want to wear a watch.
97. I want to wear a necklace.
98. I want to be daring.
99. I don't want to jiggle and wobble while hardly moving.
100.I want to be the true me.
 
Some of them cracked me up! Great list and you are 6lbs closer to the end. Nude portraits?? :whistle:

I'm not following any plan. Trying to eat less than before and do some exercise. Trying....
 
I've been watching those ''My 600lb life'' lately and I realised it would be easy to get there so best to try and nip it in the bud before it get's too out of hand that I can't see no way back.

They're just so shocking those programmes aren't they. I think at that point you really can't do much other than surgery but what I can't get my head around are the enablers who get the food for them. I'd refuse!
 
You often see the family who get the food are big themselves, maybe not 600lb but certainly they seem heading for 250/300lb a lot of the time so they probably have no idea they are doing wrong or sometimes the husband likes their wife fat and immobilised.

I've not been on as not been too well this past week, but have lost 2lbs. Not sure how as have not exactly been good.

Since I did my 100 reasons to lose 100lbs post I have had my portrait done by a successful artist and it is for sale. I can not afford it (£250) but he is going to make me a print of it. So not the nude.... yet! But still portrait is a start.

I have not been weighed this week as it was period week and I have been feeling hunger and not resisting. however I just got weighed 5 minutes ago and was 269, so I think I could be 266 in morning making a 1 lb loss, we'll see.

My apologies not replying to other threads. I need to make more time to join in.
 
Wow, I just loved your 100 reasons list! So inspiring and I can relate to almost every single reason.

Helped remind myself why I need to kick my ass into gear again.

Your weight loss so far is brilliant, well done! :)
