Wow 51 is amazing well done hun. I am 33 and have been fighting with my weight since I was a teenager. I want to put it all behind me by the time I hit the mid 30's.

Sorry to hear your mum isn't well. Hope she will be feeling better soon. Xx

We're hopefully getting there a bit now, done some things that no daughter should ever do tonight ;) (!) but we're getting there.

Hoping to get both to bed soon. Managed to get a coffee and a packet of WW biscuits inside her so I'm hoping she'll lay down for a rest and let her meds work as she has a habit of fighting them whilst awake (like when they gave her a SERIOUS strength painkiller injection at the hospital. It didn't take affect until the next morning after some sleep when we'd gotten back from a&e in the early hours of the morning. she's also a bit of a drama queen in general (I mean it with love but it's true!) in the way that it wouldn't just be a stubbed toe, her entire leg would be hanging off and gangrene.

It definitely put paid to any thoughts that this week would be better than last let's put it like that!

Thank you m'lovelies, she is MUCH better now. Still some issues but she finally got some rest and got a bit of ease to let the medication work. Went up about half 5 - got called down at 6 to sort her - went back up and called down at 7 to sort her but then she managed to sleep through till half 10 and so did I so we're a bit more human now :)

Hope you're all doing well :) xxx

YESPLEASE! :p

On top of it all, TOTM has just started a few days early  I can't catch a break at the moment!!

Ah well, it means the weight loss yesterday was a bit better given everything was bloating and swelling inside so doubly happy.

On the good side, both now had a shower and got clean pj's on, both just had some food and a drink and now shut the curtains and resting back to watch tv and ignore everything else for the rest of the day :) Hope you're all having a good day xxx

I lied. Did the washing up and hand washing in between resting (my period pains were killing me so they were a distraction and also a bit of movement to get them gone).

Tbh there were only 2 loads of hand washing as I've binned some of the old stuff worn whilst mum was at the vvv poorly stage just incase as I can't get it clean enough on a handwash as a machine would and the new washer won't be here until at least Mondayish (unless the local shop on the corner has anything decent value as they are same day/next day delivery and only a block away but I don't have the money until Fri). Think I might go for a walk down there with mum tomorrow to get her out and about in the fresh air (as it is just next block and close enough to turn back if she feels out of sorts) and have a look at their stock and ask them to order one in on time if they need to for hopefully same day delivery IF they have one in our price range that is good value too. I could be paying at 9am and washing at 10/11am Friday. :D I hope so!

We've been sticking to the the same bits and pieces and washing them in between because obv why have to rewash your entire wardrobe when you can only do say 10 bits each including underwear? :) It's mostly pj's to be honest too so nothing ruined there :) Can't wait to get to wearing different clothes again though :D

Period pains are the worst, you are amazing to work through them - although sometimes it's the only way - me, I take the legal dose of nurofen and crash out for a day.

I know you don't have that luxury my love. I just want to give you a big hug and help in some way...if only we weren't so far apart landwise!

What about your neighbours, could they help, lend you their washing machine, maybe?

With you in spirit xxxxxx

I get such bad period pains and heavy ones too :( it's held me back really :( has the dr given you mefenamic acid? They work a treat to lessen flow and stop pain xx

Morning ladies, hope you're all well :)

I had a measure session before bed last night as it's the end of the month and I'm v happy with the results!

I've removed thighs and arms from the measurements as I couldn't be 100% sure that I was measuring the same place month in month out so it didn't make sense to keep them in as it was misleading if I was higher/lower on the limbs each time I measured.

Started 31st March
2 inches off my boobs - 7 inches in total
Half inch off my hips - 6 and a half inches in total
Half inch off my waist - 4 and a half inches in total
Neck stayed the same - but still 1 inch off from the start.

19 inches in total :D

I hope you are looking after yourself through all of this. Hopefully your mum will continue to improve. Xx

(... as normal as she can be ;) )

Thank you m'lovely! I really do appreciate it. It's like a huge weight off my mind behind able to sound off. For the first TOTM in a very long time I'm not having a little depressive episode through it so it's definitely helping :) Infact I feel happier all round really, it's weird!
:grouphugg::bighug:

She wasn't the sort of poorly that I could or would inflict on someone else's machine :whistle: There is a laundrette about 10 mins away and I was going to use that before it happened but again I don't want to pass anything on.

I've made sure everything is as scrupulously clean as I could, I even had some disinfectant in the water each time and I soaked it several times and changed the water in between on each load before I properly washed it so hopefully all will be okay and again they'll be washed properly clean all over again in a few days.

It won't be much longer now and what I did have to do was clean so I'm more than happy to hang on now she's clearing up especially as I did bin stuff (and the bin men have taken it this morning :D)

Me too :( I once bled straight through a sun lounger mattress within a couple of hours without even noticing as I was focused on the pain and the sun was 'supposed' to be helping the pain according to mum. If anyone found the mattress at the tip they must have thought someone'd been murdered on it...!! I have tranexamic acid, naproxen and painkillers on my repeats and I did have a mirena coil that lasted 2 and half years but ohmyword I was so angry and so quick to temper on it (thought it was pmt) at all times, not even during the TOTM that the second it came out I was a totally different person!

Hope you're all well my darlings! :)

Yay to the inch loss, that's brilliant! I wish I'd measured myself at the start, as it's nice to see the inches going down as well as the pounds. :) xx

Thank you lovely :) I didn't think it'd show differences so quickly but it did! There's also less of a difference between my hips and waist than there was which I'm happier about as I couldn't keep trousers up ;)

Hi sweetie you sound v busy. Hope you get a new washing machine soon hun. I am on the mini pill and I get no periods at all so would recommend that. Sorry you have been in pain ;( hope today been ok hun and your mums a bit better now thinking of you. Big hugs xxx
