14 Stone To Lose

I had endometriosis so had that awful heavy bleeding every month, so got an Implanon in my arm which stopped my periods altogether and it was wonderful - lasts for three years, and they do the insertion with a local at your Women's clinic.

And WOOHOO on the inch loss, that is bl**dy brilliant! :D

Hi sweetie you sound v busy. Hope you get a new washing machine soon hun. I am on the mini pill and I get no periods at all so would recommend that. Sorry you have been in pain ;( hope today been ok hun and your mums a bit better now thinking of you. Big hugs xxx

Thank you lovely :) I was interested in having the pill, but apparently when you're overweight you're 'not allowed it'. That was from my old doctor a good... cor, 5/6 years ago and I haven't asked at the new surgery.

Everything's much better now thank you lovely :) get money on Friday so there'll be a new washer on the way then :) Won't be long now. Hope you're doing well and enjoying the sun with your gorgeous boy :)

Oooh will ask about that if they won't let me have the pill. Need something definitely :)

And spank you :D I'm 69 inches tall - the boobs were 66(!). Now they're 59 and decreasing fast :D :D Much better!

My turn to say oi oi :D

I too was told I couldn't go on the pill because of my weight but I can really recommend the implanon - my totm dried up (sorry) almost immediately, there was no pain and no pmt - my ex said he didn't notice any mood swings (apart from the usual LOL). I had a couple of episodes with breakthrough bleeding, but on the whole it was wonderful - and it's completely reversible - if you don't want it anymore, get it taken out and your monthlies start again almost straight away.

I am on the pill and obviously over weight. So I don't see why you can't! ! Stupid doctors. Definitely worth asking about one of the other options.

Well done on your inch loss, that's amazing. Xx

Floozy ;)

Will have a word too if they refuse the pill - anything is worth a go :D (And the implant is definitely more dignified than having the coil put in. Even smaller that would not have been pleasant. She had to clamp bits that should not be clamped (!) and also then congratulated me as I hadn't had any anaesthetic stuff... I didn't even know it was available, don't congratulate me after it!!!! :8855::8855::8855:

I have good news also ladies. My mum got paid her pension from my dad's old employers and my lovely brother is making up the difference for me - new washer's coming tomorrow :D :D :D :D :D :D

ETA: ... or it would have been if that bank had been a little quicker with the transfer of funds  It's tuesday now - but it's still coming at least! :) Bless him though, he's sent more than enough to pay for the entire washer! I love him to bits!

Thank you m'lovelies :D Hope you're all well! :D

(Suzie, it's yours ALWAYS :p)

Also stocked up on wash stuff from Asda as they've got loads on offer! Bought 10 of one type for a pound each, 10 of another type for 75p each, 25 bottles of fabric conditioner at 40p each and 6 massive stain remover tubs at 1.75 each - still loads on the shelves and lots of other types of stuff on offer/reduced to clear too - get thee to an asda! :D

(shattered now though!!)

OMG it must have been hard work carrying that lot home - but what bargains! No Asda near here sadly - might check online :)

Taxi :D even with that (£3) it was still a bargain :D

They're not available online because it's a clearance line, sorry love :(

Thanks hun, hope you're doing well :)

You'll have to count me out of weigh ins for about a week - my scales have died (not that I'm upset - they've never really been that great) and I need to track down a set that are preferably not digital that can do up to 23st (think I'll be out of luck) but I'm checking amazon and argos etc now:D

The only other scales I could use (other than the doctors and I'm not there until the end of next week) are the ones in that boots store and I'm not going back in there! It'll do me some good not being able to hop on and off like a mad thing :D

ETA: Had my hair cut today (finally can see the red too :D I dyed it about a fortnight back but the black from the last job was on the tips so you could only see it when I parted it :D :p ) that's totally a stone off right? ;)

ETA2: Gone half with mum for this set of scales : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Salter-145-Mechanical-Bathroom-Scale/dp/B0001HYH5Q/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top more than I'd have liked to pay (but then isn't everything ;) ) but then cheaper in the long run because it won't be running out of expensive batteries every 5 mins like the last ones  and should be much much more accurate than the digital scales. :D Hopefully will be here by Wed(ish) so only one monday missed :)

Absolutely - the same as shaving legs / cutting nails and last minute pre weigh in wee makes me 5lbs less each week :p

I have those scales! My only complaint is that I find it a bit hard to see the lines marking off each pound between stones. So I just weigh myself in kg instead of squinting and guessing, "Hmm, is that on the 2 or the 3?" etc. ;)

Other than that, they're great. I had digital scales before, too, and hated them. Mechanical all the way. Hope you enjoy the new scales!
