Coffee fell through. One friend has flu! The other got stuck at college! Oh well.
I did great amount if shopping-mostly Xmas presents. And then badly needed a coffee for the journey home. Wrecked! Hehe. Spending money is tiring! :)

I'm intrigued by the frittata. Making salmon fishcakes tomorrow that sound quite similar. Did you make them yourself??

Just stuck up a photo. Ya I got the recipe from a WW cookbook when I was looking for ideas.

Boil potatoes (I just chose to use 50g=1pp)
When cooked slice them
Spray pan with oil, heat
Mix egg (I added egg white also=3pp in total) and dill and parsley
Add potatoes to pan, then pour egg mixture ontop
Scatter smoked salmon ontop (I used 30g = 1pp)
5-7 minutes til set
Put under preheated grill to set the top
Shud just slide out of a non stick pan
It was yum!
Fish cakes sound good too! :) What are u making them with?

Hmmmm frittata looks amazing I am defo going to be making this I Will add the ingredients to my shopping list Friday, can't believe how low pp it is, it will certainly test me as I'm pretty rubbish at cooking ha ha!!

Ya the food was yum. :) Trying to change up my food. I tend to eat the same things all the time.
Not under goal tho.... 8lbs to go.

I love smoked salmon.
We always hav it at home so delighted I've found a low pp way of using it so I can hav something filling over Xmas. :)

I've never tried smoked salmon.

Oh it's yum. Very fishy Smelling and tasting and it is raw so it's not everyone's taste. But it's great in pastas, on bagels, in frittatas! ;-)

I absolutely LOVE smoked salmon! IMO Nicest way to have it is to toss it in plain cooked pasta after pasta is off the heat and add a little olive oil or cream. Just cooks it ever so slightly and makes it a bit softer to eat. Yum!!!

Ill post my recipe later after I cook with the photos :) Found it on an app and am gonna adapt it a bit.

Frittata looks fab!
 
That's probably why I wouldn't like it, because its raw and smells of fish. I'm not a great fish person, I love squid and scallops and a small bit of cod but that's about it really. I make a lovely fish pie for my hubby and kids but I won't eat it.
Annoying really coz its all quite low in PP's.
 
Ya I didn't mean to be smart when I said fishy smelling but I know some people hate it when it strongly smells of fish.
Ya fish is so versatile and low pp. pity u don't like it. :-(
