I tried to sign up to this last night but they took £38.80 from my account anyway. I am waiting for them to reply to my email asking for a refund, especially as I have discovered a sign up fee free option.

I have always managed to set my DD to my cashcard account before using the Visa option as I don't use credit cards, and I've never had a problem. I hope they haven't changed this. I put Paypal as my option last night purely because I was signing up on my phone and didn't want the kerfuffle of putting in ally account details.

If you have been an online subscriber in the past 6 months, you can reactivate your account with no sign up fee, both on 1 and 3 month plans.

Once WW confirmed that they were refunding my money I reactivated my old account for just the £10.95 monthly instead of faffing around again with the free trial
