Thanks for the explanation. I have tried most diets but love my food and am VERY stubborn so I don't like not being able to eat anything and I am a gannet so diets like slimming world are disastrous for me! I just end up eating and eating and eating free foods and then when I slip, I slip big time! So it's boring old calorie counting ( or now) pro points counting for me... But its all about what works for you isn't it? ...I have lost nearly 6 stone now and have another 7 to go :sigh:

I do have twitter but don't post much...tend to use facebook more but will be active on here...just started a diary which I always find helps. I agree sometimes it's nice to have support with the technicalities on the diet though...hope you find some help wit it :0)
I too was an avid fan of the unit diet after I stumbled across the website a couple of years ago, I bought the books and had some success but missed the weekly weigh-ins that SW & WW offer so gave up . I thought I'd give it another go but found the website was no longer available ,luckily it's pretty easy to follow if you have the books and the matrix (which is similar to the old WW card calculator, so you can work out units from the calorie and fat on food labels ) but for anyone who's interested I have found a seller on ebay that sells the Jigsaw slimming starter packs for less than a fiver. I am hoping that someone start up the jigsaw website again though !!!
