2015 Weight Loss Challenge

I hated veg! I got told it takes ten times of trying something to realise if you like it and I've started to find this true. I started off forcing broccoli into my meals by covering it in ketchup, sounds gross but hey now I can eat broccoli on its own like it's going out of fashion! Try cooking them different ways also, those steam bags make carrots taste different to if you boil them. You could add pepper, salt? Or roast veg on a tray bake?

Thanks! I like broccoli but can only eat it drenched in vinegar! Lol sometimes I feel like a four year old!

Right, first ask for help! Having been back on sw for a few days now, I think my downfall might be getting enough veg on my plate, especially at lunches. I don't like salad veg and am a bit picky about Normal veg, although I love onion and mushroom!
Anyone got any go to easy ideas for getting veg In me (oh and I don't like most fruit!)
Thanks in advance guys I know the 1/3 rule is important! X

Tinned tomatoes/passata are great for getting veg in, you could use it as a sauce for a pasta bake/bolognese xx

That's a good plan! I like tomatoey sauces. I just read about 1/3 super free on slimmingeats . Com and I understand it a bit more now, I think because I don't really like veg and fruit I've stuck to free foods thinking that would be good enough, now I understand it's more about portion control of free, so will try extra hard! Off to lidl! X

That's where I failed at Slimming World in the past as well. I just had the free stuff and skipped superfree a few days each week as I too don't really like veg.

I found hiding it in things made it much more enjoyable so ate a lot of things like homemade soups as it was puree'd with flavours, spag bol, lasagne, homemade burgers overloaded with onion, various pasta and sauce dishes I could add chunks of veg to and hid in sauce, broccoli and cauliflower cheese with the Hex's etc.

I actually plan on going back onto SW after a month or so of Slim Fast to try and get back into the good eating habits. Need a boost first though as nearly 6st to lose.

Today has gone surprisingly well, 1 shake for brekkie, 1 shake for lunch, aero biscuit and grapes for snacks and making a tuna and sweetcorn pasta bake later for dinner. Oddly enough all the overdoing it at xmas and new year has meant that now I am not eating for sake of it I notice I don't really feel hungry. Long may it continue!

Wow thats a fab start tink well done. Youve kicked off our losses fantastically!

Well done tink.

Another 100% day for me, being stuck at home with sinusitis making me feel sick helped keep me on track. Slept through from childminder collecting daughter untik just after lunch so completely missed breakfast.

Made up the cals to minimum with snacks, lunch shake and dinner though luckily.

Two days into diet and two 100% days, more than I have done in months! :D

Hey all im a re join! Hopefully the last time i join. My aim is to lost 56lb by xmas 2015! But i have way more to lose.
Struggling tonight becoz our heating has broke and i just want to stuff my face. Thinking options n a hifi bar and bed.

Thanks, and my god yes! About bloody time my mojo reappeared! Lol

Looking forward to first weigh in. I started diet Monday but going to weigh Saturday's so if I give myself a treat on weekends I have the week to cancel it out plus more.

I am weighing on a Friday with a similar idea in mind. I am saving most of my Syns for Saturday evening and have a big blow out all in one go :)

Evening all, chalk me up for -4.5lbs! Pleased with that after a hard week! My wife hasn't started yet and I find it hard going without my running mate (I don't mean actual running.......not there just yet!)

What a great list if people! Good luck everyone!
