After not cycling for over a month this morning I did my first commute to the train station. It was flipping cold and the roads were a little icy but I did it and will be doing it every day this week. I know once I've got a couple of days under my belt it will be fine but it felt so hard this morning. Still I know it's all worth it and fingers crossed will help with the WI on Sunday.

Does anyone else run or cycle?

I was two weeks away from completing couch to 10k but then stopped for two weeks at xmas which set me back and I'm too scared to go out at the minute cos it's a bit icy so I think il have to go back a good few weeks! :-(

I know what you mean about getting set back, in September I was running 10K easily having trained for a run but after completing it I let myself get lazy. I'm now going the gym as as you say it's too cold and icy to run outside. I'm building it up again, you'll be amazed how quickly it comes back. Last week I did 5K and it nearly killed me and then this week I did 7K. I think I'm going to enter the Maidstone 10K in March, it will give me something to train for.

I was on week 12 of couch to 10 k but I think I'm going to start back at week seven,then I can maybe skip a few weeks if my fitness comes back quicker than I thought.i enjoy running when I'm semi comfortable,my last few runs were a bit miserable but hopefully that will pass!

Good on you entering a 10k.i would love to but I'm too scared lol,def agree that having a race coming up would be great to encourage you to run more in preparation for it

2.2lbs off for me this week, so 11.6 lbs in two weeks on WW filling and healthy. :D I've been feeling a bit bloated and had a grumbling tummy over the weekend though, so thinking of cutting down on carbs a wee bit this week.

I know what you mean about getting set back, in September I was running 10K easily having trained for a run but after completing it I let myself get lazy. I'm now going the gym as as you say it's too cold and icy to run outside. I'm building it up again, you'll be amazed how quickly it comes back. It's always good to have a goal to focus towards, you'll do brilliantly I'm sure :D

I've also weighed myself today since it's the day before my weigh in ; I'm currently sitting at 13st 11.8lbs so I'll probably miss my target of 13st 10lbs this week. That is most definitely down to caving in and having a takeaway but a loss is a loss at the end of the day :)!

Don't ask me how but I've actually managed to get to my target for this week :O.... weigh in for today was actually 13st 10lbs exactly. I'm actually speechless since yesterday I was 13st 11.8lbs! Words cannot describe how happy I'm feeling today :D :D :D !!!!

Changing my weighing day to Tuesday - I want to try 2 days fasting a week on Mondays and Friday so makes sense to weigh after one of those.
Means I've only lost half a pound this week but hopefully better next week :)

So despite my positive thinking at the weekend after getting a STS I'm really struggling. The office was full of chocolate yesterday and I had more than my fair share. On the good side I've resisted having a glass of wine when I get home which is usually by downfall when feeling like this. I so wanted to January to go well and an initial loss of 3lbs really inspired me but now I just feel fat and dis-heartened.

Kent cat dont be low mate. Forget the chocs you had. Today is a new day. Have u started ur cycling again? Pack yourself treats you like for work i freeze chocolate cadburys squares and take them in and suck them to death. Keep going mate january will be good. X

Yeah I'm still cycling and will hopefully get to the gym on Saturday (my other half is working and may need the car).

I have an implant and so don't get periods but I wonder if i'm still having a time of the month as I really do just feel low and a bit emotional.

So far today I've not gone off track and other half is doing homemade veg curry tonight so should be ok. I'm sure an early night and I'll feel better tomorrow.

Think lots of us feel like that at times - weight loss is so testing isn't it? and choc is sooooo hard to resist! just draw a line under yesterday.

sometimes I have to focus on a meal at a time (helps if I plan meals ahead and buy the food in) but I never list specific meals to a day cos I need to eat what & when I fancy it - hope that makes sense?

you lost 3lbs and u'll do it again - ur doing the right thing by posting ur thoughts - keep doing that if it helps u - w2moro is another day xx
 
Lost a pound this week.i ate pizza at the weekend which isn't ideal when you are juicing,but I think the low weight loss is more to do with it being star week.i know a pound is still a loss but I have hated juicing this week and really struggled so it's difficult when you don't see more reward.taking all my strength not to just eat crap now.

First week of going at it, weighed in a day early due to me and my OH having an anniversary tomorrow. Down 7lbs!! :D
 
At an business breakfast meeting this morning I avoided all the lovely pastries and just had a banana. I know I made the right decision but it didn't half make me feel miserable.

I really don't know what is wrong with me. I'm miserable when I eat the wrong stuff and miserable when I eat the right stuff. I just feel like going to bed and sleeping till this mood is shaken off.
