No expert here but I would say that if three bars a day should turn out to be the only way you can stick to Cambridge - for whatever reason, and if you do not suffer tummy problems or hunger or cravings, and you DO manage to stick to this daily routine AND lose weight - why not?
The extra carbs are slight particularly if you have crunch bars and the added calories not that many. This is not the officially recommended way to do Cambridge but if it suits you, works for you and you lose weight, I can't see a problem.
Surely it's better than not doing Cambridge at all? If I could only stand bars, and could happily enjoy and tolerate 3 a day, I wouldn't even think twice. It may be unconventional and officially 'unwise' for many reasons but I don't see it proving harmful and it could actually be a Godsend for this particular Cambridge dieter!
