7 1/2 - 8st?

Has anyone lost 71/2 to 8st.. That's how much I want lose and I want to see if anyone has done it so I know its possible.. 2 years ago I lost 5 stone in 6 months but put it all back on again booo!!! . Back on it and 2014 will be my year I want to be there this time next year. Thanks

Of course it's possible... you've already lost 1.5 stone this time round so you know you can lose weight, you just need to stick at it through the ups and downs. I've downloaded a load of motivational quotes, tips and pictures and they rotate as my desktop picture. I'm finding that really useful to keep me on track as well as having my certificates on the kitchen cupboards and a food diary on my fridge door. All just little reminders that I need to stick to plan if I want to achieve my short and long term weight loss goals.

If course its possible hun. You just keep going instead of giving up this time. It may take longer than a year but you will get there. There is chap on another group who has lost 22 stone!

Ive lost just over 6 stone since April, for motivation I come on here lots, bought a tape measure so even if the pounds are slow I may have gone down a cm or two. I regularly buy myself a treat and wont give myself it until reached my mini goal, at the moment it's a handbag. I don't think ill ever find it easy, the wonderful thing about minis is we are all in the same boat. You can do it hun

Hi. I've lost 3 stone since end of July (still have loads to lose but back on plan after xmas). I find it disheartening to think if how much I've got ti to lose in total so I'd suggest setting yourself mini-goals so it seems more achievable. I set myself a countdown reminder on my phone's wallpaper background (cos like most people my phones always with me). .eg before I go in hols end of May I want to lose 31 lbs. I've got a picture of little boxes representing half a pound each and as I lose them I'll tick them off.

I lost 9 stone in fourteen months. My BMI was close to yours when i began. Now being maintaining for almost a year!
