Hi all,
Im really making this post as a reflection to look back upon, to keep me sane and as motivation. I am a second timer on the Cambridge diet, the first time I was really not ready to commit but did lose approx. 10 pounds which I have put back on JOY! Why is it so easy to put weight on but so hard to lose? So I have approx. 3 stone (42lbs) to lose. Im fairly lucky that I am pretty tall at 5ft 9 so I seem to carry off a little extra weight but of recent all my clothes have got tight (im sure they shrunk in the wash ), im starting to get a rather chubby face, and possibly more roles that a bakery!
As a teen I was always a lovely size ten but after having my little girl four years ago I don't think iv ever got back to pre-pregnancy size and the excuse of "iv had a baby" has been exhausted. This time I NEED to succeed and stop using food as a fix to cure boredom or emotions. I WILL DO THIS, I CAN DO THIS! I just wish dominos would stop txting me buy one get one free deals or the adverts on the telly would stop making my mouth water.
I plan to follow ss just for two week whilst I get into the swing of things then I will add in a small healthy meal after that. Im finding Cambridge very very expensive so if anyone is aware of alternatives id be really interested to know. I think I just wanted to write this to speak to others on the journey of "getting slim", what keeps you all motivated? Any tips? Im a night owl so tend to drink my shakes during the evening im not sure if this a bad idea but I work in the NHS so sometimes breaks are not an option.
Anyways look forward to getting to know you all Happy Slimming
