Hii there. I've been lurking on this particular section of the site since I joined last week, so I suppose I should really post something to say hi to you all with, so here it goes.
Hi!
A little about me: I'm an eighteen year old student in the North East of England, I really want to study law at University, specifically Newcastle, which I hope to start at in 2011. I live with my parents, my girlfriend, Zof, my cat, Cassie, and my chihuahua, Mischa.
I have been overweight pretty much my whole life, and the only real weight loss success, despite many diets, was back in 2007, when I went from 17 stone to 14 stone through less than healthy means. I then promptly stopped and have steadily gained a ton of weight since and never -really really- been bothered to change.
Until now. I commit totally, I Mean It This Time. I want to be at a healthy weight, or at least approaching a healthy weight, by the time I start university, so no one there will ever know me as I am now. I also want to use uni as a way to become more active and use the discounted gym membership, something I couldn't consider doing right now.
So far I've lost 13lb, so only another...146 to go? Ish.
Anyway. I love this forum, everyone seems so helpful and supportive, and I hope that this will spur me on and keep me on track.
Love to you all
xx
