How much damege would this be?

I know boiled rice is the way forward, but just curious as to the actual syn value.

I've not been to my regular Indian restaurant in months. If I can get something halfway near healthy AND tasty, I'm there!

He will also cook anything the way I ask too as I've been going there so long.

Also what about madras dishes? - prawn or chicken madras I guess would be best or are madras dishes high syn?

180g regular pilau rice is 2.5 syns so probably the same for a mushroom version as mushrooms are free?? Dhansaks and Rogan Josh are usually the lowest synned at 6.5 (350g) but Jalfrezi (8.5), Madras (11), Vindaloo (8) are also within usual syn limits. Enjoy!

Marvellous!

When I plan my forthcoming trip, I think I will forego the starter and ice-cream/creamy coffee dessert and just enjoy the madras and Pilau rice.

The mushrooms normally would be free, but depends on what they're cooked in/with as well as the actual portion sizes and weight etc. - bit of a minefield tbh:(
