hi everyone
well, i lost 3.5lbs this week
woohoo
so i am 14st 9lbs now.
have been to the docs this morning and asked about low-carbing and getting pregnant and he said that until i know i'm pregnant he doesn't see why i shouldn't keep on doing it, especially if i'm managing to lose weight whilst doing it. just to avoid uncooked meats and certain cheese, but i don't eat those anyway. it surprised me to be honest. i was expecting the 3rd degree and a slap on the wrist. he printed me out an information leaflet about getting pregnant, and even that says to eat plenty of starchy carbs, but he said until i'm pregnant it shouldn't make any difference, and like i said, losing weight is more beneficial in any case.
and i don't have to worry about taking my painkillers until heavily pregnant, ha.
so it looks like i have potentially many more months of low-carbing ahead of me
today is the official first day of OWL, but i don't really feel the need to up my carbs. i may have the odd day of a bit of extra veg or some berries, as i do feel the need for more of that, but generally i'm happy pootling along, doing what i'm doing. i just need to find a more budget-friendly way of doing it!!
well done on getting to day four emma
that's great news. you can do it. and no more muffins!! ha. you are right not to beat yourself up. life's too hard...
the ashes are back home again jim. i saw it in all it's glory whilst at work, although i have to admit i missed the end as i was reading minis, ha. but watched all the celebrations. i watched a lot of the athletics in berlin this weekend. i love watching athletics. almost makes me feel like i'm running and jumping with them
i still have this stupid nagging headache, not as bad as it has been. but i generally feel a bit crap again today. heavy and headachey... so today is going to be a recoop day i think. i'm supposed to be going over to a friend's house but i might ask her over here instead.
