Abi's weightloss diary - post jaw surgery

well i have just had a very pleasant mushroomy stroganoffy lunch. although it would have been far more filling if i'd had veg to go with it, like brocolli or something. seems like my first day is going to be harder than expected because i just don't know what i'm doing properly yet. think i'll get some brocolli to go with the pasta thing i'm going to make tonight to bulk it out a wee bit.

now onto an apple for dessert as i just don't have enough points to eat my nutrigrain and my yoghurt as they are both very pointy and i want them for tonight...

I'm struggling with my carb values too! Feel like I'm thinking about food constantly today!
 
Hey Abz :) it is going to take a while to get used to the WW way of thinking of course, don't worry you're doing great for a first day :D your lunch sounds lovely, and you have an apple for an afternoon snack then your lovely pasta for tea :) so that's all good, nice things to look forward to.

You said that veg is free of points, is this all veg? Sorry i dont know anything about WW :S but i was thinking, you could perhaps cut some carrot sticks, cucumber sticks, or celery.. things like that to munch on in the day when you want something, if they are free of points that is :) just an idea :D I looove carrot sticks :D

good luck on ww chick. ww toffee and vanilla yogs are my life saver they are only 0.5 points .lol.
 
ha. sounds like a good one :D my activia are 2.5 i think!! argh.

i was thinking of carrot sticks bon. i do love that. and celery. but then i always want to put loads of salt on the celery so i might give that a miss. was thinking of pointing up some low fat humous. or ww probably do some, and then having that as dip to make things more interesting :)

Ah yeah you could get some hummous to make them a bit more interesting :) good idea. Sounds like you need to go food shopping! make a list :D

I am tiiiiired now :( I want to go home!! only 2 and a half hours to go, that's like a very long film... that's not too bad!
 
well it wouldn't be if you were watching a film... ha. i have 1.5 hours to go. have been up since 5am when the cat woke us up. although at least i didn't do what thomas did which is give up on going back to sleep, get up at 5 (we were actually awake at 4) and start tidying the living room and moving the furniture about, ha.

Is he mad!!! As if he was tidying and moving things about at that time of the morning :S Ha.

Even if i wake up early and can't get back to sleep I never get up, I like to just lie in bed and be lazy :D

Oh beeeeed :( no fair! at least thinking about that is stopping me thinking about food! hehe.
 
ha. well i got up just after five in the end. by that point i was thinking 'if i do go back to sleep and get woken by the alarm i'm going to feel even worse' so i just got out of bed and had a cup of tea. saying that i can barely keep my eyes open now. am thinking of making a coffee but not sure i can be bothered to move.

still thinking about eating that apple :D

well i dropped the yoghurt and the nutrigrain and had an apple instead so i finish my working day on 13 points leaving 10 for later on which sounds just spiffy to me. it's the end of my working day now so i'm off 'ome probably just to fall asleep...

oh. must buy my dad's wife a card on the way back...

thanks chaps. i'm at home now so i'm not bored at work any more so don't want to eat to alleviate it :)

i am feeling totally huge at the moment though. my size 18s are feeling snug and they were hanging off. i don't know if that's just today or whether i've gained more than i realise, but it matters not as from now on it will be going down :)

i managed to buy brocolli on the way home at the same time as my dad's wife's card. think we've missed last post by 10 minutes though as traffic was bad. oh is charging to the post office now... ah well. it will be a day late at most :)

was thinking about it for weeks as well and then forgot when it was time to get it. it's written in my diary (buy and post card) but i forgot to take my diary to work. oops.

pasta tonight with brocolli on the side. and i'm going to make some extra to take to work tomorrow as well so i don't have another day like today, ha.. will have to get some better yoghurts etc...

good morning everyone. i took my breakfast to work yesterday and left it there for the morning... forgetting that it's my late shift tonight, so i have no breakfast :( so i'm going to have to point up some bread and make toast or something. ooh. pineapple. that's probably good :) let's have a look at that... and of course my apples, ha. will have to investigate.

so you guys are going to have to put up with me until 11pm tonight :)

Well done on your totally WW day yesterday :D you did good :D wooo.

How are you doing this morning? pineapple for breakfast is great! When do you start work then? are you having dinner at home? what you gonna take in to eat at work?

I am still shocked that you have a diary! all this wedding planning has made you really organised! where's my Abi gone! hehehe.
 
ha. well it has paddington bear on it if that makes any difference? :D

i find it hilarious that when we meet up we'll be walking down the street and you STILL have to put my top straps on my shoulders and straighten my coat. i must walk around looking ragtag all the time :p hee.
